Wow...looks awsome. I always thought the fire ball was too small in Warlords, and should be the size of the ball in Breakout....any thoughts as to what the final rendering of the fireballs will look like? Anyway...looks great so far, keep it up.

Yeah..I remember calling them tapes. I also remember another one. We never called it "the Atari 2600", or the VCS....it was simply "the Atari", much like people say "Kleenex" instead of facial tissue. Atari is to Kleenex as.......Intellivision is to Puffs

I have no idea why the game was released that way, I remember being really pissed after bringing it home. I just didnt play it for a while. Once I got over the crap graphics, I was able to eventually have fun with it, but I am still damaged today.....and yes...thank god for the re makes and hacks.

a "spiceware" huh? It's not like I don't post increasingly better scores between the first and last game. A lot of these games I've never played before, and I limit myself to just a few games per day so the first days results tend to be crappy as I've not yet figured out the ins and outs of the game. I'm just messin wit ya...besides your early week scores blow my late week scores out of the water

Also...I wasn't able to play Omega Race last week due to not having the game or the controllers....however....my first car was a 1981 Omega(I just wasted 10 seconds of your life that you will never have back)

7500 thought I'd submit a score before our power goes out. Its snowing like crazy here in the D. So if any of you turn on the Superbowl tomorrow and theres a rerun of Americas Funniest Videos....you'll know why. Im 30 miles north of Ford Field and we have 8" so far...I may have to break a long standing tradition of not doing physical labor on superbowl sunday so I can dig us out of this crap. Amid all of this ...another not so good score...

Well, I finally got my fb2. I love it. I will post somthing in the reviews topic later, but right now I have a quick question. I plugged in my good ol paddles to play pong and I am able to move but the motion is super jittery. I have heard of this problem before but I cant recall if there is a way to fix it. Also, if not I thought I heard a mention of new paddles being sold seperatly at some point. Does anyone know if thats true?

Our BestBuy (Auburn Hills MI) had them in not the best display area possile either. they were in that bottom shelf area under the main rack in the video game accessories area...if this thing got an end isle display it would be this years tickle me elmo...while many of us here are after this thing...or already have it..I believe it is becoming a huge holiday impulse buy for the "passive" nostalgic 30 somthings who may not have even known it existed until they happened upon it. by the way, the prototype packaging had more "jump out at ya" than the final packaging...which is still pretty good. Maybe Santa will bring me one

24 thought id post an early score just for the hell of it this week. I used to have the travel version/magnetic and kick my brothers ass on this on several drives to ohio to visit relatives..game 3 is nasty...i can beat game 1 usually but...I will call this version "deep green"

Today was supposed to be the day.... I have been stopping at Target off and on only to discover no FB2's to be found. Yesterday I popped into BestBuy to pick up some dvd's and there it was. They had about 15 in stock and I was a little short on cash(I just dont use credit cards except for emergencies), so I thought I'd swing by after work today and get my fb2 finally! So I went in to grab my prize and...GONE...all sold out.....I think these are selling really well and I may not even get one before Christmas..drat! The price appears to be 29.95 at least at my BestBuy.

This is a nice topic for the end of the year/holiday season. I have 2 answers...one as the 10 year old me and one as me now. 1983.....Pitfall...wow..the graphics blew me away...and we would play round robin tournaments against each other...from noon..til 9 at night those days 2005....Millipede...it is my Crack...I may need to go cold turkey...which reminds me...I have leftover turkey to take for lunch tomorow!....mmmm...wait....what was I talking about?
