Thankyou, I did that and holding all keys made 2 come up. start made 6 and options made 2, select made no change. I live in the UK and have never used a soldering iron before but am willing to learn. Anyone know where to get spare parts from in the UK?

I have both of the games in the title on my 1050 (happy modded whatever that means) attached to my XEGS. On Ball Blazer the select button doesn't work and on Crystal Castles when I press start a character doesn't appear on screen. Does anyone have any idea why? Maybe only the XE cartridge versions will work on the XEGS?

I have a 130XE which for some reason wont play all my 8-bit cartridges (i.e Qix, Qbert). So Im using my XEGS, but it is connected using an RF to RF cable atm. Is there a better way to connect this to a TV/Monitor? On the monitor there is SCART, RF, CMYK & HDMI. I also have a SCART to Hdmi convertor (with some kind of audio pass through), but I don't use because it creates static.

I have just bought an Atari 1050 (with a silver switch on it that does something) floppy drive and an XC11 cassatte deck. I have looked on eBay but didn't find many compatible games. Maybe Im not using the correct search term. Where can I buy these games from in the UK.
