I never got this either. My tv's always sat where I put them (sometimes for its entire life) I rarely moved one. I don't change bedrooms or living rooms either.
If your moving every other week or month I could see this being an issue, but if hazard a guess people moving frequently probably have bigger issues than a heavy crt.
I can't do that I need to rearrange my living room at least once every 3 to 4 months. I can't stand looking at the same setup for very long, I get anxiety and depressed when I see things the same for too long.

Stop trying to collect for more than one console at a time. I had 13 consoles and was overwhelmed by the games I had because I collect to play them. Now I only collect for one console and I feel less stress.

our original ps2 got my wife and i through the first year of our daughter's life since the girl NEVER SLEPT, lol. Many hours spent playing FF12 and Dragon Quest 8.

we still have it, but lately we've been using PCSX2 to emulate and play the games on our computer.
Feel you, my wife and I played tons of Burnout when my first child was born.

I thought Grid 1 was pretty fun. The handling can take some time getting use to but the visual damage is always fun to see.

How much game time is in the fan made game so far?

So this was posted 6 years ago and still nothing? Not surprised, these "give me money to make a retro game but it will just take us around 10 years or cancelled altogether" always go down in flames. Just more promises and delays. Being excited for a game this long is mental. Can't believe people actually pre-ordered this. It doesn't even look or sound fun. Just another generic beat-em-up that the Genesis is loaded with.

I need to get another component cable for my PS2. It's amazing how good some games still look with it. I'm having to play them on my 19-inch CRT using the original cables but that's how I grew up with it anyways so no biggie for now.

Why the sideways pics, do you guys stand on walls when taking them?

Hey guys! I have found a video by a guy named ColourShedProductions on YouTube. I have been subscribed to him for a while, and I felt that his content was so good that I needed to share it. Here you go, a review of Gran Turismo 4!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMrhesoD1R8
This has got me thinking: What is your opinion on Gran Turismo 4? It was one of my first ever racing games, so it is fairly special to me. I have lost many, many hours to it. The difficulty is weird in it though, as you could theoretically use overpowered cars in any event, but the driving in it is fantastic for the PS2.
I hated both Gran Turismo 3 and 4. Just too slow for my taste. After playing Forza 1 on the original Xbox I couldn't go back and play them as I felt Forza did everything better. I do find Tourist Trophy extremely fun though, which is like Gran Turismo but with motorcycles.

Why would anyone want to play a game on a 1/2-inch screen? I can't imagine that to be any fun at all.

I just use Gamefaqs collection builder to keep track of all my games.

Had a Gamecube for 2 years now and I've collected a total of maybe 10 games. Most of my time goes towards collecting for the PS2 and Original Xbox. I have 007 Nightfire, Enter The Matrix, and rest are pretty much sports games

A friend of mine who I often play games with suggested we try Hoops for nes. It was one of his original games from childhood. We tried it for about 5 minutes and both agreed it was garbage. He said "I used to play the crap out of that game. I got it for Christmass and was so excited, I thought it was great". I had similar situations. I didn't have many games but I loved all the ones I had. I certainly knew certain games were better than others. Some things never occurred to me. Like that the controls may be horrible I just thought I wasn't good at it, and I would still play it quite a bit and I never thought man this game sucks. Looking back this seems silly to me. I cant believe how much time I spent playing Heavy Shreddin on my NES, or Ren and Stimpy on my Gameboy. Im curious if anyone else experienced this and what games actually seemed good to you through the eyes of a child.
I played Hoops on NES at 6 years old and knew it was garbage lol. I could actually play it better now with more patience than I could as a kid. When I played a crappy game as I kid I would turn it off within 10 minutes, now I try to at least play longer to see if the game gets better or I warm up to it.

Little Big Planet and the SingStar games instantly come to mind. The Just Dance Kids game would be fun and maybe ModNation Racers and Create.
De Blob 2
