Nope, that's not itWas the console all yellow or did it just have some yellow writing and bright yellow carts? It may be the Channel F because the rest of the description fits. When I here the words yellow and classic gaming, this is what I think of:
but thank you

Hi all,
This may be a longshot, but here we go.
I remember finding a old style video game system maybe about 14 years ago. We had a large gathering the other night, and started talking about how much we loved classic games, and I got them all excited about the Flashback 2 (got a few more sales coming your way, Atari!
) Anyway, I remembered picking up a yellow, i believe self contained unit where the controllers were built into the unit, i think the controllers were rotary style.. I could swear it said magnavox on it, but im not sure.... I remeber clearly it was a yellow system about the size of a heavy sixer 2600.. Any ideas folks?? I found this thing in the junkyard behind my house back in like 1992. My friend and i never could get the thing to work, last i knew he still had it, but i lost contact with him
Lemme know!

This darn sytem can come out anyday now....

I cant wait much longer..

do you have any pics of the Pong unit and the batteries??

yep sonic games are all about speed. back in the day that was their advertising hook, sonic's speed showcased the more powerful genesis over the NES. they'd show mario puttering along at a snails pace and then sonic blasting past in a more glorious background. i guess its a matter of gaming mindset,i always prefered the mario style where i could take the time to find every hidden feature on a screen to sonic's revved up super jumps. they never gave sonic a compelling character either, mario is likeable in a kid's classic way where as sonic was all about the 'tude. sonic always reminded me of that poochie character home played on itchy and scratchy, radical to the Xtreme!
I think you mean they were trying to compare the genesis to the Super NES
Had to do with that "blast processing" hype..

How much longer do I have to wait for this thing????

It should be me, because I'm good looking and not a dork, I could represent the community well. But these tv stations always like to get the geekiest, fattest slobs they can muster to represent whatever it is they are showcasing. Star Wars? Haha, Star Trek?, haha, action figure shows? yes...more bald fat slobs with grease stains on their shirts from all the potato chips and popcorn they eat.
LOL! omg, TFF!!

LOL,you got a better deal that me.One of the local Blockbusters has them for $9.99 a piece. They had a lot so I picked up a few.Im going back so I can get every color they had, lol. Is there any mods for the GBC?Id like to experiment with one to see if I can get a backlit on one.I need to open one up anyways ,cause the sound is wayy low on the yellow one.....
Were they brand new for $9.99???

Thanks for the help everybody
Phil, thanks for the solid advice as well. I thought I had 30.. guess not. I have no boxes or manuals for the games, alot of them i bought second hand that way. Would it be safe to say, sell everything I had listed including the games you seperated for 60 dollars. That would be fair right? if so, thats what I will be asking. I dont want to short myself, but I also want to give somebody a good deal.
Thanks

Hi Guys,
I would like to know what you all think my 2600 is worth. I was thinking of putting a ad in the local paper, or maybe selling it on ebay <Gasp!> I would just like to to know what you think is a fair asking price for something like this, you guys know your stuff more than anybody offline I could ask.
The system has 2 joysticks, the paddle controllers, 2 extension cables and 30 games. It even has a box. I took a pic with my friends digital camaera and laid everything out. I'd appreciate any info you can give me.Thanks

Are they Majesco systems?
Yes, just like the Genesis 3
-
Snider-man said:$15 each? Sorry pal. Smurfs is around $5 and Alien is probably worth the same. Nothing too rare there.
you should probally read the post a little better
I said the gameboy goes for around 15 dollars at ebgameworld. I mentioned nothing about how much i wanted for the 2600 games in dollar amounts anyway, since i really would rather trade.
But, if you want to get technical, you said smurfs is about 5 dollars, alien id say is worth a bit more than that, so were getting closer to the fifteen dollar mark for both, which is how much the gameboy is

I hope your kidding
I think the smily face kinda gave it away.....
-
You can get them for 20 dollars brand new at Toys r us. Same goes for a brand new game gear for 30 dollars. Both Majesco's

Hi all,
I have 2 games I no longer want for sale or trade, Rather trade tho..
1. Smurfs: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle By Coleco
2. Alien By Fox
Id rather do business locally as i hate shopping/trading/selling online, but email anyway if interested.
Im looking into getting a gameboy for my wife, we've had 2 of the original and the screens go bad over time. What I am looking for is a gameboy pocket, not the color, just the small b&w pocket gameboy and a few games. These go for around 15 dollars used at ebgameworld, so thats what I am looking to get for these 2 games. Im not trying to make a fortune here like some of those guys on ebay.... jeesh

let me know
Chris
