  1. Thats very interesting man, thanks!

Are there no issues with the console or the games crashing when you do this ? does it start back up again every time ?

    Thanks again :)

    Hi Tony!

No problem, glad to share infos!!

There are no issue with the console nor crashing any game(s). When switching ON, it only

HALT (freeze) the game in the process and stays that way UNTIL you switch OFF. I tried

it with 5 different games and switching ON and OFF at least 20 times for each games and it

didn't damaged the carts or the system.

And when you switch OFF, the game starts EXACTY where you "paused" and it doesn't

reset the system or the game.

    Enjoy modding your Colecovision! :)

  2. Hi Folks!

It's been a llllooonnnggggggg time that i haven't posted here.

So...some of you want to add a "pause" button on your Colecovision ?

    It's so simple!

Just use a simple switch. One wire soldered to the ground and the other

soldered to PIN #50 (the /WAIT signal) of the expansion port. And voila!

You'll have your "Pause" button working for every games.

When you switch the button ON, it will FREEZE the game and if there

is a note (sound) at the time you switch ON, the note will play indefinitely

UNTIL you switch the button OFF.

What i suggest when you pause a game, turn the TV off until you get back

playing, this way you won't hear any sounds and mostly, you won't get any

"burn-in" in the TV tube (like arcade monitors).

    Enjoy!! ;-)

  4. My favorite game of all time...... VANGUARD!!!

Yes, that's right...Vanguard. I have it in cartridge thanks to a wonderful

person who live in Israel who made me a cartridge version of Vanguard.

I'll try to get a picture of the cartridge with my digital camera soon.

And NO....it's not for sale or trade. I'll DIE with it, that you can count on it. ;)
