Apple used to be synonymous with "quality product that justified the high price tag." However, their decline started around 2006-2007. (I used to like their computers despite using Windows and, before that, Amiga Workbench.)

  just picked up an i7 macbook, after having it a week I still dont like apple, going to sell it. I really dislike all the apple store crap for everything and having to create an account etc. Pc / Android seems much simpler.
