I don't know which is the saddest: the death of Takeshi Miyaji, Treasure not making any new games, or Game Arts being owned by Gung-Ho Entertainment and re-releasing the first two Grandia games. By the way, there's a bonus for Symphony of the Night fans and Classic Resident Evil.

  Edit: By "Re-releasing the first two Grandia games," I meant only the first two games, and not their other classics such as Thexder, Silpheed, Faria, Alicia Dragoon, Zeliard, and the Lunar series that wasn't Dragon Song. (AKA Lunar: Gone to dog shit.)
