  1. As far as Laserdisc games are concerned, Data East's are probably some of the most obscure out there. So, I decided to dedicate a thread to them. Yes, I am aware that one of these was based off of Harmageddon, and the other one, Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro.
  2. God of War meets the Pac-Man cartoon, interesting crossover to say the least. (RIP Marty Ingels and John Stephenson.)
  3. I wonder if Lazy Game Reviews is still active here?

I'd check, but I gotta take a nap..

  4. I don't know if there's any Megami Tensei fans here, but I prefer Kazuma Kaneko's earlier art (1987-1997) over his post-Persona 2 work. It looks stiff and not very expressive despite being otherwise solid.

  5. Since HamCorossam's site went under, I wonder if there are any other download links for that freeware game, Gunroad?

  6. Torr, that's the one problem I have with that game that I would love to rectify. Hey, maybe we could make a "How to Fix It" request to Black Scarab FilmZ? As for The Lost World's bonus segments, they are quite impressive for the system.
  7. Very professional, judging from the footage.
  8. Why is it that Bulletstorm's Duke Nukem mode is somehow better than Duke Nukem Forever? Maybe 2K Games should let us make a Duke Nukem game?

Don't we have enough Duke games? Would hate for the formula to get tired. ;-)

It doesn't have to be an FPS.

  9. Hmm...looking good so far. By the way, was this done with VIDE?
  10. Dragon Quest 5 is still my favorite DQ/Dragon Warrior game.

I've got DQ 1-8 on my phone in the event I get buried in a cave-in or something. So long as I have power.

I had to look that one up...I guess I haven't played it. I may or may not have a fan translation ROM, if one exists...

  11. Here's a long play of The Lost World: JP: That game shows how much Novotrade/Appaloosa knew when it came to the Genesis/Mega Drive. The Ooze: This title, judging from the Cubex55 description, looks like it could have used some tuning. By the way, the guys behind Sonic Spinball, Dinosaurs for Hire, and Eternal Champions worked on this. Finally, here's a video of Nightmare Circus: Too bad that Sega released it before they finished it.
  12. Comix Zone was criminally underrated, though I only had the Windows 95 version. Truth be told, if I ever did a Top Ten Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Games it would be in the middle.
  13. I've been thinking of using 160B mode for my 7800 projects.

Funny how long it took to have a console which did proper colour at 320 pixel resolution!

  14. There was also Nightmare Circus, which was released on the Sega Channel in the US, but got a physical release in Brazil. If it weren't so cryptic to the point of being incompetently puzzling, it would have gotten at least a cult following.
  15. When it comes to the Sega Genesis, 1995-1998 releases are almost never mentioned. (Though not without reason.) So, I figured I'd start a thread on these games.
  16. I don't want genderswapped Ghostbusters 2. However, I would like an animated Ghostbusters film based on the Real GB cartoon. Don't know if Bill Murray would be interested, then you have to take into consideration whether to choose between Frank Welker or Dan Aykroyd as Ray, as well as between Ernie Hudson, Arsenio Hall, or Buster Jones as Winston.

I don't care if it's gender-swapped. Sure, why not? Is it good? Is it funny? Is it entertaining? That's what actually matters.

@BydoEmpire, all things being equal, you are right. However, unfortunately, in this day and age, doing a "gender-swapped" version of something is a conscious decision, meaning that *it* becomes the salient point of the work. *sigh*

      Why not mix 50-50?

After dealing with HP's sketchy business tactics (updates crippling performance and locking out 3rd party toners), I switched to a Samsung all in one. Better software. Better hardware. Faster speed. More intuitive. Better all around performer.

I have loved my Epson WorkForce 845 since I got it in 2012. Works perfectly with generic inks too.

I have an Epson Workforce 845 as well and it's been pretty solid.

  18. Too bad that Interplay fucked up the HD version of Earthworm Jim. They could have made the ultimate version that had the parallax and transparencies of the Super NES version, and the Sega CD's extra levels and improved animation.

  19. *Smiles in delight.* You did good on the color choices.
  20. Would it be a problem if I were to say that I dislike MGS2 and 4?

the only one I really liked was Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 :)

  21. Ninjabba, I think you should tell I-Mockery's Roger Barr about this. (He's real big on the Atari Lynx.)
  22. I don't know if you guys are into Newgrounds, but I miss when Harry Partridge was actually funny instead of All form, little substance.
