  1. I was going to suggest Pac-Man Plus or Frankodragon, but I don't think they would be interested.
  2. I'd like to mention that you did a good job at converting the 8-Bit Mega Man graphics to the 7800's 160-pixel-wide modes.
  3. Reminds me of early Newgrounds Assassin Flash games. (Oh, how I miss all that celebrity killing.)
  4. I see Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and is that Johnny Thunder?
  5. I wouldn't mind a fighting game character modeled after Angus Scrimm's Tall Man character. Just imagine the potential if done well.

That would be pretty cool...I still need to see all Phantasm movies past the first one (I Know...call me Slacker ;)

I would like to see an Atari 2600 game of Phantasm. I imagine a chase scene with the Ball might be cool.

There is an Atari 2600 game of Phantasm. I think neotokeo did it.

  6. This game's spritework reminds me of Rainbow Islands, and the cat reminds me of Tiny Toons' Furball. (In a good way.)
  7. @yell0w_lantern: If Chiller does get ported to the 7800, it should have some extra levels. (Dining room, crypt, tower, and armory just to name a few.) By the way, I'm still planning out a Rastan clone called "The Agathodaimon."
  8. Fun fact: Bally Sente used CEM 3394 chips in their hardware. These chips are also used in the Sequential Circuits MultiTrak and Doepfer Dark Energy synthesizers. Sources: http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=607 http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=608
  9. If there is one thing I like about 3D printing, you can use it to create replacement parts for old cars, TVs, etc.

I'm doing a lot of printing these days. I have 4 and another 80% built. I moderate one of the FB printing groups.

Can ya print me up an Engine? How about a 440? I'll even take a nice 360 ...MOPAR please! ;)

  10. The first 78 episodes of The Real Ghostbusters have aged well in terms of writing and characterization. It sucks that ABC and Q5's meddling forced J Michael Straczinski to leave.

Fun fact: Scott Menville's father was one of the show's writers.

Slide: He created the holodeck too, for Star Trek The Animated Series.

I remember thinking how much I preferred the cartoon to the second movie! I had no idea there were so many episodes. They should have had J. Michael Straczynski write the second movie...I could imagine a Great movie starting with an encounter with the Thing in Faversham's Attic...Maybe have it end up in another dimension, or have them find something like that spinning axis under Manhattan.

  11. What's next, a Pokey cover of King of Speed from Daytona USA?
  12. I do think that Hat Trick has room for improvement. Come on, Bally Sente could have added power-ups or different rinks just to spice it up.
  13. Would an E-Body Cadillac Eldorado ('67-80) make a good hot rod?

  14. Dennis the Menace is one of my favorite franchises, but I don't want a revival unless it is competant and funny.

That kid was a little bastard. You remember the DiC cartoon? Surprised Mr. Wilson didn't eat him.

I liked his Dairy Queen ads.

  15. Anyone here familiar with Doctor Morgus?

...the Magnificent? Yeah, I used to watch that every week on WPIX-11! I'm a sucker for goofy characters showing bad movies... (also Commander USA)

Commander USA? I never heard of him. Anyways, Morgus and Chopsley never get the credit among B-movie and vintage TV nerds. Somebody tell Rowdy C Moore!

  16. Just listening to Pokey Gallantry on Soundcloud, and you did an excellent job. Oh, and I'm following you on SC.
  17. I never thought that battery-backed saves would be possible on the 7800.
  18. I've been binge watching Adventures of SMB3.

Considering the deaths of Captain Lou Albano, Danny Wells, Tony Rosato, and Harvey Atkin, it was the least I can do to honor their memories.

  19. Saboteur I and II (ZX Spectrum): Maybe we could talk Clive Townsend into making 7800 homebrews?
  20. What's next, Zun giving you the green light to port Highly Responsive to Prayers on the Jaguar? *Smirks*
  21. It would be nice to see a Ys game in the vein of The Elder Scrolls or Breath of the Wild.

Or for that matter, all four or so of the Valis games re-released on Virtual Console.
