  1. Hmmm...that reminds me of a certain cartoon on Adult Swim by Will Carsola and Dave Stewart. (Cue Death Metal theme song.)
  2. How important is game color theory to you all?

What is game color theory? If the colors don't clash or hurt the eyes (like red on blue) and the game designer doesn't try to cause seizures or eye pain by flashing the screen, it should be fine.

I liked everything about Q*Bert 3 BUT the fact that the color rules (green is okay to touch; red and purple are deadly) went out the window. Red apples are worth points, while a green toad kills you. Uh, huh?

Nice sprites and tiles, Marss. Were you inspired by Advance Wars, Soldiers of Fortune/The Chaos Engine, and people on PixelJoint?
  4. Am I the only person who is in the middle on Big Mouth? It isn't The Critic or Duckman, but at the same time, it isn't Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan.

That mockup screenshot is surprisingly good.
  6. If anyone wants to collaborate on 7800, Lynx, and/or Jaguar homebrews; I'm yours.

      Music, I'd guess.

  7. Ok, I think it is time for which TG-16/PCE CD and Sega CD games you would want to see on the Jaguar CD. TG-16 CD: Castlevania: Rondo of Blood Image Fight 2 Tengai Makyo/Far East of Eden 1 and 2 Faussete Amour (with improved controls) Götzendiener (with improved controls) Valis 3 and 4 Ys 3 and 4 Beyond Shadowgate Fiend Hunter (with improved controls) Basted
  8. I wouldn't be surprised if those two Ys games required 1MB 7800 ROM chips. Now, here's something that I know will work on the 7800: Psychic World (MSX Version): Valis I and II (MSX Versions):
  9. I'd like to see more than just fighting games on the Neo Geo. Luckily, there are the likes of NG.DevTeam with GunLord and Last Hope.
  10. Here's some more: Rusty (PC-98 series): Flame Zapper Kotsujin (Also PC-98 series): Early Touhou project (Highly Responsive to Prayers, Story of Eastern Wonderland, Phantasmagoria of Dimensional Dream, Lotus Land Story, and Mystic Square): 3D Death Chase (ZX Spectrum):
  11. Oh, and if anyone is wondering why I chose those colors: classic Atari color scheme.
  12. Shell dimensions. Width: 10.5 millimeters Height: two centimeters Depth: 4.1 cm (top shell) 4.7 cm (bottom shell)
  13. Was I the only person who saw The Munsters Today during its original run?

Syndicated on? Maybe I should just say which network?

Various networks. I think WGNO in New Orleans/Slidell aired it.

Got ya! I think that would be that middle ground between cable and network, We had one (Denver) called KWGN that we could get (though a bit staticy) with an antenna, but I don't think they carried this show...

  14. Man, I've been on a controller design fix for around four hours.

  15. I wonder if you can run old Amiga games on it?
  16. I think I can design one for you, though specifications would be nice.
  17. Gee, thanks OLD CS1. Come to think of it, you have inspired me to conceptualize my own custom C64/128 game controller.
  18. If I knew how, I would. However, I don't have any CAD programs on my PC. Update: Here's some more I just whipped up.
  19. I forgot about Spy Hunter, the father of the Car Combat genre.
  20. I was wondering what kind of programming tricks that were used in those C64/128 games that managed to use more than one fire button? I am well aware that Pins 5 and 9 corresponded to buttons 3 and 2.
  21. Maybe I could design some shells for your PCBs, Danth Wader?
  22. Here's a video of the original Sharp X1 Thunder Force:
  23. I think Atari Games/Tengen should have ported Marble Madness II onto the Super NES, Genesis, etc.

Hell, they could have put on Midway Arcade Treasures, along with Primal Rage 2.

They should have! I didn't even know that existed!
