I don't! Sorry Billy. Can we still be friends?

That wasn't an AVGN video. If you like it, you just like hearing James Rolfe talk about stuff! LOL

  4. My Ideal 20th anniversary version of Duke Nukem 3D would have all the levels, weapons, & enemies from the Plutonium Pack/Atomic Edition, Total Meltdown, 64, Sunstorm Interactive's expansions. Too bad Gearbox Software fucked that event all up.

      MrMaddog

Only thing that made World Tour tolerable for me is it can now be played on eDuke32 along with the other expansion packs.

I hate everything but Taco (s).

  6. Am I the only person here who thought that Drawn Together had potential, but wasted it on imitation Family Guy humor?

    1. GoldLeader

      GoldLeader

Sounds about right...Except the potential was wasted by wishing it was a tenth as funny as Family Guy, plus way too much repetition and gross jokes...and a little too much like an actual reality show for my personal tastes.

    2. Nathan Strum

      Nathan Strum

I already thought Family Guy was imitation humor.

    3. TheTIGuy

      TheTIGuy

      Yes, yes it is.

Its imitation Futurama humor, that is itself imitation The Simpsons humor.

  7. The Nostalgia Critic on Opening Critics: https://vid.me/a8Xj6

I meant to say Opening Credits.

    2. GoldLeader

      GoldLeader

Interesting point. I have mixed feelings, because I worked in Pay Per View (Well Master Control), Watching movies All the way through...

    3. GoldLeader

      GoldLeader

On a really good night I might process 3 movies almost back to back. At this point opening credits feel predictable, and I liked it when a movie jumped right in or saved "artistry" for the end titles...

  8. I wonder what people think of Taito's sound team, Zuntata?

    1. retrorussell

Wasn't that a GI Joe villain?

    2. Jess Ragan

      Jess Ragan

Love 'em. Man, they got weeeird when they made the soundtracks for the Darius games, though.

  9. Am I the only person who disliked Sonic SatAM? Despite the ambition, I found it to be dull, prententious, and boring.

    1. Skippy B. Coyote

      Skippy B. Coyote

You have the craziest timing, because I just started watching Sonic SatAM today for the first time in a good 20 years. I'm only 3 episodes into the first season but I'm really enjoying it so far. =)

    2. Jess Ragan

      Jess Ragan

It was ambitious, in the way 1990s cartoons so often were. I can't fault it for that. Having said that, it wasn't one of my favorite 90s cartoons.

  10. This is fucking hilarious!

Not bad, how about the Nostalgia Critic talking about GI JOE the Movie...

I've already seen that on Vid.me.

  11. Am I the only person who is imagining Garry Chalk voicing Haggar in Final Fight?

    1. JFD62780

      JFD62780

      I sorta imagined Jesse Ventura.

I mean he was another pro wrestler turned politician, you know. :P

  12. https://soundcloud.com/ryan-alhizen/fist-of-the-north-star-english-opening Mike Egan's Fist of the North Star opening theme is still awesome!
  13. Am I the only person who thinks that Edgar Wright tried too hard with the Scott Pilgrim movie?

    1. GoldLeader

      GoldLeader

Personally I thought it was Awesome! It's pretty hard to capture the weird spirit of the graphic novels in movie form so I thought he did well, but to each his own.

    2. GoldLeader

      GoldLeader

I've heard worse criticisms, but I think they come from not relating to it. I've had friends who liked it and disliked it based on its own merits...

    3. dj_convoy

      dj_convoy

I thought it was interesting how roughly the first half was pretty much a perfect adaptation, and then they kind of did their own thing through to the end. I first, I was a bit put off by that, but I have come around to it in subsequent viewings. I can't believe how much it got right, really.

  14. Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan: still annoying and poorly written. You're better off watching New Cutey Honey instead.

    1. GameGirl420

      GameGirl420

Funny i actually met and partied with Go Nagai back at some anime convention back in the 90s! Cutey Honey is ok though. I respect it,but never was a big fan.

  16. I miss when South Park was actually funny, instead of being obnoxiously insipid.

Seems like Simpsons suffered when Futurama was funniest, just like Family Guy began to suffer as American Dad got really good...I'm not even saying there's a connection, but doesn't it seem that way?

    3. GoldLeader

      GoldLeader

Overall I like them all though. Everything will have its ups and downs.

SP started to suffer from seasonal rot around 2001-2002. However, I did enjoy Good Times With Weapons with Trey Parker's fake Japanese singing. After that, however, it went downhill more spectacularly than Newgrounds did around 2012. I don't watch The Simpsons very often, but still watch old reruns and the Ullman-era shorts.

  17. I have to choose one car under $12,000 dollars, and must be within ten miles of Slidell, Louisiana.

I'd get a mid to late 60's 'Merican convertible with a small block V8 or even a straight 6. It'd be a nice cruiser to take up to DQ. My friend has a '68 Buick convertible that he bought for $6k in mint shape off the original owner's family.

Maybe consider an A-body Mopar like a Dodge Dart Swinger/Plymouth Scamp. They look nicer than a Nova in my opinion.

could not stand speed racer back in the day.

      SlidellMan

While I did find the acting to be good, and Speed, his family, Trixie, Racer X, the Mach 5, and the Mammoth Car were faithful to the source; there was too much CG, too many bits from American cartoons and F-Zero, and the editing was unconductive to the race scenes.

    4. Random Terrain

      Random Terrain

I hated the cartoon back then, so I have no interest, except to go back in time and erase it from existence.

  19. Nintendo Complete does Batman Returns:

To be honest, this game had potential to be good, but the difficulty ruined it.
