I saw several Atari 2600 cartridges in today's Antique fair in Slidell. (Crystal Castles and Circus Atari were amongst them.)

Why is that so many terrible-to-mediocre games end up with good-to-great music?

If only Nintendo green lit a new series of Mario comics...

I can't believe I forgot about Frank Welker's Birthday two days ago.

Riot by NMK
Run & Gun games don't get any more obscure than this. NMK may not be known for their music, but this game's soundtrack is good.

@GoldLeaderI bet that Riot would make for excellent homebrew ports for the Lynx and Jaguar.

ROM Hacking.net has an excellent patching utility.

Don't say that I didn't do you a favor. As for translated ROMs, that I cannot ascertain.

Space Lords:
This would have been excellent on the Falcon and Jaguar.

Prehistorik Man for the Super NES:
Proof that Titus was capable of making good games.

When I heard that Sony was re-releasing Playstation exclusives, I was hoping that it was going to be A) the entire Psygnosis back catalog, B) the Windows 95 ports of Twisted Metal 1&2, and C) the Windows 95 ports of the Jet Moto trilogy. Alas, it turned out to be God of War PS4.

By Psygnosis' back catalog, I'm talking about their DOS, Amiga, Mac, and Windows releases from the late '80s to Drakan.
@GoldLeader Yes, it exists, but it was Japanese exclusive and had a low print run. Here's a few videos:
Granted, it was basically a straight port with few enhancements. Such as LAN two-player and 640x480 resolution.

I'm currently picking up pots, chairs, etc. from outside to prepare for Hurricane Ida. That, and I'm glad that I had that generator that was bought after Katrina.

My work evac'd everybody else this morning, so there's a 99% chance I'm getting called in. Wife's deciding if she's evac'ing as my dependent, or if her work will call her in. Right now I'm getting the ol' HAM radio going to tune in to the hurricane net. My (indoor) antenna fell down so now I have to fix that.

This year marks a lot of gaming milestones:
-30th Anniversaries of Sonic the Hedgehog and the launch of the Super NES.
-25th Anniversaries of Kirby Super Star, Super Mario RPG, and Star Ocean.
-20th Anniversaries of the GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and X-Box.
-15th Anniversaries of Newgrounds'/The Behemoth's Castle Crashers, the PS3, and Wii.
-10th Anniversary of the 3DS.
-5th Anniversary of the New 2DS/3DS.
-
I think Atari Games/Tengen should have ported Marble Madness II onto the Super NES, Genesis, etc.

The 4th Snake on how he would fix Scrappy-Doo.

To tell you the truth, I never had any real disdain towards the character, but see why he is hated. He was one of those things that Hanna-Barbera got very wrong. (Others include poor IP evolution, blindly following other studio's trends, bad color theory in the '70s and '80s., and Kwicky Koala just to name a few.)

The Munsters pilot.

Vigilante 8 has surprisingly aged quite well when compared to its sequel. Though, in the latter's defense, if you have a '73-'77 GM A-Body in your car combat game, Luxoflux and Activision did something right.

@ZoyousCar combat is in need of a comeback, which is why I am focusing on the groundwork for one.

Vintage Willys, Kaiser, & AMC Jeeps > Modern Jeeps. (To be fair, the modern Wrangler and Gladiator have more leg room.)

I wonder if anyone here is fluent/knowledgeable in Ancient Greek? (E. G. Attic, Ionic, Doric/Spartan, Aeolian, Phrygian, and Aegean.)

A new SNL skit that is actually funny for once:

Aside from Eternal Darkness, are there any other instances of Latin in video games? (Barring fan translations.)

It's still amazing that Cameltry is one of the few Arcade games that had No bad ports back in the day.
