For those who grew up with Rainbow Brite, or had friends, sisters, nieces, or cousins who did:
Hallmark just couldn't recreate the success of the '80s original. I will say this in defense of the Dynamite comic: Brittany Williams' artwork was excellent, but wasn't well received in the writing department.

Holy jeez, 'Shadows of Doubt' is really something. Procedurally generated murder mysteries that still feel pretty good to solve.

Why is that so many terrible-to-mediocre games end up with good-to-great music?

For those in need of Genesis/Mega Drive FM instruments:
Note: These were all made in Furnace Tracker.

After 5 years,I am still very proud of the game based on my radio show, despite a few dumb haters at first(who never even bothered to play it themselves), it actually sold very well, and got a good reception overall. Also enjoy playing it personally. Can't wait for sequel! lol David Crane creator of Pitfall is appearing on my show again next week too.

Harris Teeter construction cut my internet line and tried to repair it themselves. Guess how that went.

Time for Slave Zero!
Standing on the shoulder of Slave Zero - Good Gear Guide by PC World Australia (archive.org)
I'd advise getting it on GOG.com instead of Steam:
https://www.gog.com/en/game/slave_zero
Peixoto's free patch: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=44312848
Said patch doesn't require one to subscribe to his Patreon. Hopefully, Night Dive Studios will remaster this game.

Ugh, AC went out last night. Time to find a movie theater or arcade.

Dirk Eric Schulz presents Popeye Re-animated:
Also featuring animation from Will Finn and Milton Knight. Honestly, I'm surprised that they would agree to this.

What the cancelled SNES version of Batman: Revenge of the Joker should have sounded like:
As for the Genesis version turning out so badly, I blame Sunsoft for giving Ringler Studios a cruel deadline.

Unpopular and controversial opinions, Volume 14:
-I'd rather be playing golf than to watch it. (Ditto for chess.)
-Technosoft's Herzog is long overdue for a revival.
-Hitman: Blood Money = What Metal Gear Solid 4 should have been.
-Isometric Shmups are also in need of resurrection.
-Yoshinori Ono should stick with sound design and audio production.
-Duke Nukem Forever (2011) wasn't terrible.
-Dub Reggae is underrated.
-Elex 2 > Fallout 4 & 76.
-Internet memes are the lowest, cheapest form of comedy.
-The Tracey Ullman-era Simpsons shorts have aged well.

Awww ... Tina now. 😔

Brass, Reed, and Woodwinds you never heard of:
In all fairness, Piccolo Flutes are pretty well known.
