I'm surprised that no one else decided to mention Ikaruga:
It's a pity that Treasure started to go downhill after this and Wario World...I'd love to see Wario World get a Hi-Def remaster.

@Bloodreign Fun fact about Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow: Michael Giacchino was the game's composer, and that was before The Incredibles.
Anyways, I found some songs that can help calm down the easily agitated.
Granted, it's only three songs, but they're great songs. By the way, this was released in Japan as Trump Island, and features pixel art from Gainax.

I smell a new Neo Geo Generation from the Basement Brothers:
Hint: NGH-038.

Wow, that is impressive. I might have to tell some of my friends this.

I will say this about Hi-Fi Rush is that it was high time that Arc System Works did something new that wasn't a cut-copy-paste fighting game.

I'd love to make homebrews for the Sega Saturn, but they would have to be anything other than shmups and fighters. Maybe you could cover AMOK for the next MiSTer Saturn Core update?

Magical School Lunar!:
What you see here is a re-imagining of Lunar: Walking School for the Game Gear. Despite Lunar: Dragon Song being an aberration of compulsory auto-battle, awkward sprite animations, run mechanics that drain HP, and having to choose between gaining experience or items; the series deserves a new entry.

Speaking of Tiertex' handling of Strider:

A little insight into Tiertex was needed.

I bet the Newgrounds staff would be on-board with Neo Geo homebrews, especially GunLord and Cyborg Force.

It's Snake Rattle 'n Roll as a 2D platformer. It was going to be a sequel called Snakes in Space, but that got cancelled.

@Yakumo1975 I wanted to say this with regards to your Silpheed episode: Game Arts still exists and released a hi-def collection of the first two Grandia titles. With the death of founder Takeshi Miyaji, they should consider doing the same with Silpheed, Lunar, Thexder, Firehawk, Faria, and the rest of the Grandia titles.

I don't know if anyone here still remembers Jet Grind Radio/Jet Set Radio Future, but here's a couple of successors I bet that fans of those two would like. First of which is, Butterflies:
The second is Bomb Rush Cyberfunk:

I bet that if Capcom hired either Elite, the Rozner brothers, or any other home computer developer who had actual skills and passion; the Amiga, ST, C64, and Master System versions would have been almost as good as the Genesis/Mega Drive port at the very least.

Yogi Bear's Gold Rush:
This is one instance of a game that while not terrible, isn't good enough to be up there with Konami's Tiny Toon Adventures games or what Capcom did with Disney. It needed more in terms of music and gameplay. By the way, this was also ported to the Game Gear, but said port wasn't released.

That G-Net Super Puzzle Bobble would be perfect for the Taito Milestones collection Vol. 3.

I've played CV64 when I was 15, and while it had its flaws; I liked it. Three years later, I played Legacy of Darkness, and while it took some time to get used to what I had to deal with, I also liked it. It has been twenty years since I played LoD, and I think it's high time that both of the N64 Castlevania games were taken off the hook.

Yeah, having all the cooling vents on the bottom with none on the back or sides was a mistake on SNK's part. It really makes you appreciate what the 3DO, Jaguar, PS1, Saturn, and N64 did right.

As a fan of the original Cho Aniki, something like that is sorely needed these days. Think of it as a breath of fresh air from super cinematic slop and boring open worlds.

Sega Lord X on the Neo Geo CDZ:
Am I the only one who thinks that the CDZ could have used a few more exclusives back in the day?

Super Battletank:
As said before, this was originally slated for 1994. However, it didn't get a release until 2001.
By the way, there was a surprising amount of RPGs for the Game Gear.

If you want games to test those new MiSTer N64 cores, might I suggest the first two Extreme-G games and Iggy's Reckin' Balls?

I thought I would mention this with the Thrash Rally episode:
