It was yours? It's now cancelled!

Most of you probably already put that one on their watch list: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...MEBWA%3AIT&rd=1 I guess someone made a side offer or something and the seller realized something and removed the Crazy climber and is now selling it alone in another auction. If you bidded with in mind to buy CC, make sure you read the addition because CC is no more included in there. Sad but true I guess.

You can really tell if a seller is truely bad or good only when you have a problem with a transaction. Same thing applies to buyers. Positive feedback can mean you're hassle free, but about only negatives can tell me if you're good or bad in handling problems when it occur. You may not be as bad as I think, but after reading this thread, I'd be afraid to sell to you because you really don't hesitate to leave negative feedback for any minor problems that tickles you, and you give the blame to the seller even if it's obviously not really his fault IMO. When you say "It is NOT an Atari game, despite the fact that you clearly listed it as one." you assume that people sees auctions like you do. I'm sure most of the people don't even look at that information very much, and in many people's mind, about any '70-'80 console was an Atari. It's obvious for you that it's not, but that might not be the same for everyone.

Well, bid retracting is bad on ebay and will put you on watch soon enough. A good shiller would increase his bid by the minimum until the highest bid doesn't increase by the minimum increment. Let say I bid $40.25 on an item. It is at $31.00 for now. The shiller comes and bid 32.00, the proxy bids 32.50 on my behalf.. the shiller tries 33.00, my bid is now at 33.50.. now he finally bids $40.00, the proxy sets the bid to my max of $40.25. Now the shiller knows that's my max because if it was high enough, the proxy would've set the bid at $41.00. He stops and doesn't have to retract any bids (and bring suspicions)

Definelty looks like someone who really doesn't understand the proxy bidding system. I wonder how many times he cursed at you being damn fast at overbidding him every time!
-
Wow! A negative for that? You are definetly a bad buyer. You can't read, you can't bid, what do you want me to say? I wonder how you asked her if it was a mistake...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=3284949854 No wonder why it's pickup only..

This has been around here in Quebec for about 2 years probably. I really don't like it, and to make it worse the taste stayed in my mouth for hours after only one drink! I can't even imagine trying Diet Vanilla Coke now! Viva diet pepsi!

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...MESSE%3AIT&rd=1 Don't miss this once in a lifetime to get this extremely rare, almost unknown about, Gemini pack-in Carnival cartridge! I will consider ending the auction early if anyone makes a decent proposal (I think $5,000.00 is quite low for that kind of rarity, hey I've seen more common cartridges with higher BIN in the past!), otherwise, I'll let this end by itself, should it end at the incredible, unbelievable low starting bid! thanks for looking!

Just funny that I just checked your ebay profile and you've never neg anyone youself!

Sorry for reviving this old thread, but I prefer this to starting up a new one! I just found some TV commercials here: http://www.theoldcomputer.com/libarary's/t...rts_summary.htm

http://www.logogame.com/game.php?id=4 I'm not really good at this one, I got only 7.

I'd neg him. First, every seller should know how to pack, even if the box isn't worth anything, it should always be in another box filled with bubble wrap or newspaper to avoid movement. That is basic. And saying that you only paid $8.50 is a very poor argument. If he didn't want to sell it that low, why didn't he put a reserve or start the auction higher? Maybe he didn't know, maybe he didn't do it intentionnaly, but he's still a a bad seller and he have to learn somehow. If you neg him, next time he'll think twice before packaging his items.. if you don't he can just assume that it's not that bad to recieve a few flaming emails for the extra buck or two he saved. http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/basics.html The basics of selling on eBay How to Sell Follow these easy . . . And when your listing ends… 6. Ship the item to the buyer. Pack it up well! You don't want damage from shipping to create problems for you and your buyer.

I don't call that embarassing, I call that stupid! As stupid as this boy: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/vodul/train2.avi

Even if your item had ended, you still can recieve warnings from ebay, therefore risking account suspension. I once recieved a warning 2 weeks after the auciton ended. Maybe ebay will not see it on time so you can sell it, but I don't think they will like the tactic.

Thanks!

I guess that this makes them near worthless. Anyway, the labels are very bad, that doesn't help!
-
Look at the Enduro cart in this lot, that label isn't in the rarity guide and the seller claims it's NTSC. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...7&category=3528 Eduro (NTSC. tatty condition) And what about that Tennis game? According to rhe Rarity guide, Atari made Realsports Tennis, but no Tennis.
-
Why don't he just bid $65.00 and wait 2 days then? That'll remove the BIN button and he get the chance to make a better deal if there not enough bids... and you get the chance to get a higher price at the end, who knows?

How much is this worth??? Qubert Arcade game...

Not as much as Donkey Kong or pacman, but still a nice collectable: http://search-completed.ebay.com/search/se...completedonly=1 -
Check out the blatant keyword spamming in this listing.

Try this in the search box (without quotes) : "(Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Intellivision)" That will search items that have "Atari 2600" or "Atari 5200" or "Intellivision" in their titles (and in their descriptions if the checkbox is checked). http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?c...ntellivision%29 -

Also "if you pay with Paypal please add $1.00 to cover all charges that are incurred" which makes sure that he will not be protected against fraud because it's illegal!! https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_...wer_id=14533469 http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_...age=_home&flow= Seller Protection Policy 7. Anyone interested in a complete Amiga 2000 system with monitor, mouse and keyboard and a box full of books and software (that box must weight over 30 pounds!)? Of course, I can list all books/software so you can take only what you need to lower the shipping rate. I also have a futjitsu 24-pin dotmatrix printer that goes with it (compatible with PC) and that I haven't tested yet, but I'll do if anyone is interested. That printer is large and heavy. I don't know amiga very much, I just been given this by a nice neigbour and said it had some upgrades like "Fat Agnus", 80 megs HD, 2 floppy drives. It's in very good working condition. I can takes pictures if anyone shows interest. pm me if interested. Thanks for looking.
