Hi everyone, recently got like 4 famicon disk systems but no games were included. I am looking literally for anything that doesn't require understanding of japanese just to be able to try and repair these drives. Preferribly I would like to pick up a small/large lot just to have something to play once I get them up and running, they can be original loose disks or not, just want something to test with. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure I used the same chips in a repair 21c14e as it is what Pac-Man uses and i used the same
Success! Thank you Masschamber, another quick question, so at first the console was going straight into 1 player mode without letting me select it, I assumed a short in controller 1 which seems to be correct, are the controllers notoriously damaged for this console?

Everything is off the shelf and socketed, so fixing it is always possible,
Try replacing the ram first as I've had a failure similar and it was ram
Thanks for the suggestion Masschamber, I just looked at a schematic online and saw that the ram used by the APF is 2114, is that correct? Would the following chips be suitable to try, they were from an intellivision III board with a sound problem so I think they must be working, but don't know if they are an exact fit, I think they are also 2114 looking at a quick board pic online. Thanks for your help :).

Hi guys, finally got around to testing this console I have and it does not work. It shows just a green screen with a bunch of P's everywhere most of the time. It behaves this way whether a cartridge is inserted or not. I'm guessing there's probably not much hope for the machine since I can't find any info online about repairing a broken one, but I am willing to try anything that could be suggested. Thanks!

It very well could be the type of disc and burn speed, my other unit does fine with what I have, but could just be down to just a different type/manufacturer of laser in it .
Probably the laser, I had someone work on mine that has a lot of knowledge of the system and they recommended to replace the laser since it was struggling with burned ones, works great now.

I completely forgot to take pictures of the cartridges I had in my video game booth. I appreciate the interest so I'll try to get there one point this week and get those photos for you.
Hi did you get a chance to take pictures. Thanks for your time.

EDIT: Have some new Intellivision doubles I have acquired, mostly uncommon, a few rare.
Lookking for 135 shipped for the lot, all in good shape except zaxxon has a white line crease on the middle of the top label.
Atari 7800 style shells, great for homebrews, I have 10 shells in good shape, both pegs in tact,
looking for 35 shipped.
Lot of Sears Atari 2600 Games, some games are just not in good condition meaning the boxes are cut. They are missile command, asteroids, warlords and defender. Stellar track is really rough and torn up on the top and bottom, pong sports has a flap ripped out, can send detailed pics on request. If there is no game on top of the box then it's just box/box+manual only. Looking for 100 shipped on the stuff with boxes.

Sears Manuals:
5 bucks each shipped.
EDIT: Added colecovision super action controller overlays. EDIT 2: Added harder to find Atari 2600 manuals, some Intellivision too.
The following has been sold: 1 of each of the following...
Colecovision: Rocky, Time Pilot, Cabbage Patch Kids Adventures in the Park.
Atari 2600: Math Gran Prix, Stellar Track, Super Breakout, Steeplechase, Track and Field, Green Log Book, Blue Log Book, Coleco “More for you”, M.A.S.H. entry form, Atari Video Computer System Catalog “Mind Link”, Spider-droid, Alpha-Beam with Ernie (Overlay sold too), Challenge of Nexar, Demons to Diamonds, Dolphin, Frogger II, Gremlins, Human Cannonball, Mario Bros., Pengo, RealSports Soccer, Riddle of the Sphinx Contest Insert, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Tax Avoiders, Wizard of Wor, Worm War I.
Atari 5200: Centipede overlays, River Raid overlay, Trak Ball Controller.
Intellivision: Thunder Castle Manual, Super Pro Decathlon Cartridge, Championship Tennis Box and Cartridge. 20 common Intellivision games all gone too.
Atari 7800: Donkey Kong, Dig Dug, Ms. Pacman, Desert Falcon, Touchdown Football, Galaga, Tower Toppler, Robotron 2084, Asteroids, Food fight, Centipede, Prosystem Manual, Ace of Aces, Atari 7800 Advantage Insert.
For these common ones, most are 1$ each, or 2$ per pair. For some of the harder to find ones like Pinball they are a little more. Really looking to get rid of these, send me a PM if your interested.

Does anyone here have some working extra chips they don't need? Tia, riot, and cpu. I wouldn't mind having a couple of each around for when I get in a new system and need to swap it around to get it working again.
PM'd

Atari 5200 Loop Back PCB Value?
in Atari 5200
Posted
Hello everyone, recently got a 5200 test cartridge on an eprom board and along with it came a test back pcb loop. I'm pretty sure the two items go together but I have never seen the loop back pcb for sale though I am sure there are some out there. What would be the general value of just the loop back pcb board? Thanks for the help :).
