  1. Maybe you'll see it a little sooner, this year?

    Happy birthday!

  2. Happy birthday, again!

  3. Happy birthday!

  4. Happy birthday back at ya!

  5. Yeah, I was actually really sad to hear about the death of the Macho Man.

A friend of mine texted me and when I read it, it felt like a punch in the gut.

It's funny how we develop such a strong connection with people that we don't even know, huh?

    Hope you're doing well, Anthony!

  6. Any love for this old arcade title from Atari? I don't think any ports of it were ever released for home consoles, maybe computers. And I also don't think this has ever been on any sort of retro compilation. I wonder why it has been essentially forgotten? I always thought the play control was a little off and just not precise enough, but it seemed like a decent enough premise. A little variety in the levels. Crazy ass title that I've certainly never forgotten. Tengen should have released this for the NES back in the day.
  7. I dont have either of those...sorry! I know how you feel. Do you still need a Mega Turrican scan? I can help you out with that. Just let me know!
  8. Don't you just hate it when you get a Genesis/Mega Drive game in the mail and the insert in the case is bleached out and faded from sun exposure? Don't you hate it even more when this wasn't mentioned in the description so you're not even expecting it? I got Mega Drive Wrestle War today and the spine side on the cover insert is horribly faded. Anyone have a copy they could scan for me? I checked Cover Galaxy and The Cover Project, but did not see Wrestle War listed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! It'll drive me insane seeing it on the shelf like that! Help with a Mutant League Hockey scan would be incredible, as well.
  9. Or at least, that's what it APPEARS to read as... I see your argument. To me, it just read as the pool water probably didn't help the game at all, either. Maybe I'm wrong. That's the problem with posting on the internet. Sarcasm and humor are sometimes difficult to decipher. I just thought maybe you came off a little strong, is all. I just hate to see a relative newcomer get slapped around too much, too soon. Picked up three original Game Boy games this week, so I can assure you that I have no issues with the monochrome. Back on topic, STILL haven't had any dead batteries!
  10. Not sure why my post count is relevent enough to draw your sarcastic comment...but ok Agreed. Everyone has to start somewhere.
  11. I've still never had a battery die in one of these carts. I used to joke with my girlfriend, who is now my wife of 10+ years, that I was going to marry her because she was good with soldering. Then I would always have someone who could easily replace these batteries. She still hasn't had to prove her skill to me!
  12. Anyone have an extra working Sega CD they are willing to part with for a reasonable amount? Mine has issues and I'm sick of it. I think I would prefer the model 2 version with the extension for the model 1 Genesis, but would take model 1 Sega CD if the price was right, also. I have an extra power adapter, so you can keep that, if you like. Shoot me a PM, if you can help. Thanks!
  13. Just a suggestion, but you may have better luck if you put these in the Marketplace section on the Forums. Good luck!
  14. Yeah, come on man. A modern game generally costs $59.99. Without printing manuals, they need to knock at least $10 off. The consumer is not getting as much material, but we're paying the same price? How is that fair? Yeah, and now what am I going to read on the toilet?
  15. I thought that I may as well shill my current eBay listings here: eBay Seller: zombiecraig I've seen a lot of talk about Genesis and Master System games in the Classic Gaming section over the past few months. I had a few extra systems and games that I thought I would toss out there and see what I could come away with. I've also got some other games, comics and DVDs. SNES Harvest Moon with the box, but no manual. Make me rich! Or not...
  16. I finally beat Castlevania last year. It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Ninja Gaiden still lingers. I can make it to the end, but cannot finish it. The final run stage usually does me in.
  17. I've been a Live member for like 6 years. A Gold member for as long as that's been available. Rewards member for as long as that's been around (just a few months or so, right?). Purchased way too many Arcade games. What did I get? Nothing.
  18. Eternal Darkness! I only have 12 GC games. That one is the jewel!
  19. I bought a code for Robotron on eBay last night, received the code today. I downloaded and played it a few minutes ago. Works fine. I paid $3.50 for it on eBay.
  20. I had happy time 5 minutes ago.

  21. I had happy time 5 minutes ago.

  22. I don't want to hi-jack this thread, but I've been playing my Master System a lot lately. I was curious about import games, though. Will games from around the world work on a U.S. Master System, without any modifications? As for favorite games, I think the Master System has the best version of the original Ghostbusters game. I'm also a big fan of Cyborg Hunter (a little repetitive), Enduro Racer, Kenseiden, Montezuma's Revenge and Quartet (the only home version that I'm aware of). And R-Type. Can't forget R-Type. I was never crazy about the Zillion games.
  23. My brother and I were stuck with Terminator 2 for NES. That game is terrible.
  24. I got the NES version cheap at KB Toys as a kid. My brother and I played it and thought it was okay for a discount/clearance purchase. Nothing spectacular, but certainly not the worst game I've ever played. Average. Never tried Super, but will have to give it a shot...
