Sure? I Just bought one at BF...

Talking about MiSTer and Neo Geo, did you see that Furrtek (dev that is creating a Neo Geo open hardware FPGA core) is looking for MiSTer? https://twitter.com/furrtek/status/1054140423604764674 https://twitter.com/SmokeMonsterTWI/status/1054449627607547904 Well, a lot of work still has to be done but it´s a good news indeed! He had a good increase in his Patreon after that: https://www.patreon.com/furrtek

Nice! How do will you contact the waitlist? pm?

Sure! Even owning a fancy SD2snes I bought a Superufo just for this feature! But the better place to use it is between stages: this way you solve glitches and audio issues and cheat the game a little less!
-
Also superufo 8 do this. But it didnt work for every game and sometimes is very buggy. But its better than nothing.

DAC still coming, but no ETA: https://twitter.com/analogue/status/1049389048316354560

Hi. Please put my name in the list for a lynx 2 version with case.
-
I think MLiG tested Megaman X3 using Super UFO Pro 8 (used an original japanese cart with the english version from sd card). They commented something in the streming with Kevtris.

"But it isnt the Genesis that Taber describes as his dream project. True to form, its Steve Russells Spacewar!, one of the earliest space combat games, developed back in 1962 on the PDP-1 computer, which boasted a little over 9 kilobytes of memory. Almost everybody has played Spacewar!, but almost nobody has played it on the original hardware, he says. I want to make that happen. PDP-1 core confirmed!

You can build your own cable (or ask someone to do it for you) using the correct specification: https://support.analogue.co/hc/en-us/articles/115000923948-Using-Analog-Video-output-with-the-Nt-mini Don´t forget: . Connecting pins 4 and 5 together will put the system into composite/s-video mode. Doing that you will see that composite image from Nt mini is the same as original nes.

So your development unit can do analog? NICE!
-
Do you have any japanese controller to test (using famicom expansion port)?
-
Good one. I took your question and asked Analogue on twitter.

I think they didn't call the signal "proprietary" if it just convert 480p to 240p. I'm hoping for a RAW 240p signal using the HDMI just as a connector, without any compromisses to 60Hz and others HDMI specs. I don't know if Snes have speed differences as NES (in Hz) but if they plan to make it universal to newer products the RAW signal seem the way to go.

Nvidia will launch a 4K 65 monitor with same lag results as a PC LCD (I think also 4K): https://www.geforce.co.uk/whats-new/articles/bfgd-big-format-gaming-display https://www.cnet.com/news/nvidia-bfgd-monitor-65-inch-4k-hdr-gaming-glory-ces-2018/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter#ftag=CADf328eec

The ps-io guys are trying to implement exfat support http://ps-io.com/news/ http://www.cybdyn-systems.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?p=12775#p12775 http://www.cybdyn-systems.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?p=12861#p12861 Probably at risk (no paying fees)

You can see in this part of video that TG16 is working (but not PAL). Only the current shell will be incompatible. https://youtu.be/cyEJk0LmM8I?t=1664 According to dev you can use yours hucards and system cards: - you don't need a hucard. Everything is emulated in the sd system 3: hucards, system cards, arcade card... . You can however use your own hucards and that part will be disabled on the sd system 3, so you can still benefit, for example, from the backup ram or use your own system card to boot cds. Some limitations apply though, so it's recommened to use the internal emulation and run without a hucard. Other information: - you don't need a new power supply, we have tested with the 650mA psu of pcengines and it works fine. - csync is TTL but can be easily feed to a 75ohm sync inserting a 470ohm resistor in the cart. The sd system 3 has access to the original pce csync, that is 75ohm sync levels, but it's not selected, currently a TTL csync is generated from the h & v sync signals.

I've already bought tons of stuff from Yamatoku. Yes, they made some money on shipping and yes sometimes items are broken (they only test consoles). I also suspect some shill bidding but I still recomend this seller. They always refund me without have to returning item.

Too bad no analog av out...
-
So they moved 400 units in just one month of announcement. Even so, Don't you have the feeling that Nt mini should sold more? I know that price tag is high but almost everything in retrogaming is.
-
I pre-ordered mine 09/11/16 (almost six months before release) and my order was # 3,041. So the number i guess is like 1000 nt mini per year. Also maybe this helps to understand the high price. Beyond the "no compromise" Kevtris talked about, they had to put larger profit margin because it's a small market. I confess that I was expecting more units for a such well talked and loved device... Of course we can discuss here if the price was half ($ 225) the sales would be 3X more. But do they "CAN" do it? Do they "WANT" to do it? Analogue always have this high end feel in retrogaming comunity and I'm glad that nothing was cut off.

Just sharing. Ported recently to DE0-CV board and made news again! http://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/page/archive.pl?Language=English&No=921

Snes on FPGA http://pgate1.at-ninja.jp/SNES_on_FPGA/index.html#release
-
I tested with a FDS stick and it only emulates the drive itself, so I think it's like a real FDS. What I did: I turned down cartridge audio volume until I cannot hear anymore the "morphing ball" sound. Enabled FDS audio audio (emulation), "Morphing ball" sound comes back. But still no sound effect when I opens doors.
-
Tested with Everdrive N8 and Nt mini. No sound when you open doors. I'm sure that the FDS expansion audio chip is enable. Also tested with FDS Ram adapter and FDS stick and now have sound everytime I open a door!
