Awesome job!
Plan to sell them ready to go, or maybe digital download as is gerb-files?
Always quite unaffordable to order from US.
Also, I thought about the MSX, I know is a computer basicly but its give or take the same thing as the SMS? Thinking about those Konami games that are exclusive that system.
Fingers crossed for msx I would love to play SD snatcher!!!

How about implementing a .pdf reader? Would that be too difficult? It would be nice to have some manuals and maps on the SD card for reference.
I'd love this feature. I asked for it through the analogue forum and they said it couldn't be done though
. It would be sweet to pause the game and read a manual for controller layouts and story etc though like Pause allows in a hyperspin setup. -
Also, does anyone know if a micro sd card in a SD adapter will work in the NT Mini? I've got a system coming and am not sure if I need to buy a new SD card. I'm just trying to use some stuff I have laying around.
Micro with adapter works perfect.

On my NES30 controller if you press directly down it registers DOWN correctly, but the tiniest movement left or right will register DOWN-LEFT or DOWN-RIGHT, respectively. It makes games like Contra impossible to play because the difference between DOWN and DOWN-LEFT/RIGHT is the difference between ducking and standing. This causes the character to stand when you don't intend him to. Maybe I should try to exchange it?
Also, for some reason the only purpose of the custom Analogue firmware for the NES30 controller is to remove the turbo button functionality.
I really wish there was a way to enable turbo via the menu (similar to AVS), so that even a regular controller could take advantage of it.
I can't even beat the first level of contra because my guy constantly stands up when trying to crouch etc. Is this an issue with all of their nes style controllers? If not I need a refund as well!

Just watched the Gamerster81 review and he mentioned that it took 10 minutes to load the list of roms for NES:
It looks like he's using the widely used smokemonster pack, which admittedly is quite large (~8000 files distributed among ~100 folders). It's intended for the Everdrive so no folder has more than 243 roms.
Can anyone else confirm this issue or know of a workaround to speed things up?
I use smoke monster no issue. He must have changed something within the standard format. I have not had a single issue on official or jailbreak firmware.

Thanks Kevtris!

/facepalm
How did I let that slip by?? Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention. Ugh. I feel kinda dumb now lol.
With all the awesome news and updates from kevtris coming out each day it's easy to overlook what cables to buy and where.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the link to analogues site for recommended cables. The cables from monoprice are pretty inexpensive and work great
I hope that's what you were looking for.

Yeah FDS isn't supported. As for TG-16, let's just say that some people in the "community" have sapped any desire for implementing the TG-16 any time soon. After the way I got treated there, I am not going to bother implementing it at least for awhile. Sorry 'bout that.
I'm not sure what you are referring to but I'm sorry you were treated poorly. If it is a possible core to add I'll be happy whenever that day arrives because I'm sure my tg-16 will stop working someday and the video output on it is terrible stock.

any idea when they will have more consoles in stock?
Angalogue posted on Twitter on February 11th 7-10 days before new stock.

I just checked and I could be wrong but I zoomed in and held my phone next to my TV which I paused with a projectile on screen and it appears to be #5D4EFF. In order for me to play the ROM it required the Japanese SMS BIOS to be selected.my TV or phone colors could be wrong though so I'm not sure how accurate that test is. I bet kevtris will jump in and state what it is though. For the people with the JB fw, can anyone validate if the sg1000 palette is the correct one or the SMS based one?
If Galaga SG1000 shoots dark blue projectiles (on a black background) then it's the SMS, if it's instead light blue it's correct, check here:
http://www.smspower.org/Development/Palette#MasterSystemMarkIII
PS: This is just for my info, I'm pretty sure kevtris got it right given it's the same VDP for the Coleco and how meticulously he reproduced all the nuances of the NES PPU analog out, but just double checking for confirmation.

Good point on the game boy knock off adapters. I just excited about playing game boy games. As far as the tg16 thing it was brought up by phonedork in that same video but it's not on Kevin's list so I figured it was a no but still hoping.
He has my money day 1 for the Z3K

Kevtris, regarding the jailbreak I watched your interview with Bob last night and it brought a few questions to mind. You were wondering how to make an adapter for game boy games. Would it be possible to make an adapter that a super game boy could connect to and read the game through that device?
Also I've heard a few people wonder if pc-engine/tg-16 could be run through the NT mini because even though marketed as a 16 bit system they have heard it to be a 8bit system.
I hope these are not dumb questions and thanks as always.
Super excited for lightgun support being added to SMS possibly due to Bob asking for zapper support!

I bought some wired NES controllers on eBay (for my incoming NT Mini) and now I'm wondering how difficult it is to find a working Zapper light gun. Do Zappers have a high failure rate? Is it a throw of the dice to purchase a Zapper on eBay?
You can get them from a local gamestore or pawnshop for 5-10. I have a bunch and have never come across a broken one. You should be safe.

Oregon Trail, Number/word munchers, Wolfenstein, any Jordan Mechnar game...This, MSX MSX/2 and TG-16/PC Engine and I could die happy I think.
Best purchase I've made in a long time. I was happy when it only played nes games, the core store is simply an amazing bonus. I can never express how amazing this is Kevin. Thank you
I'm a day one Z3K purchaser for sure...When the day comes can you do a midnight release for old-times sake Kevin? I'll line up! LOL.
