    I like how in Rush 2049, it's never just 'taking a shortcut.' Shortcut have variations and a lot of the easier ones don't really save time.

    Deadly premonition is ugly, runs poorly, has a stupid story and questionable gameplay, but boy is it charming and I am enjoying.

      DP is one of the great cult games out there and is often called Twin Peaks: The Video Game. Even wrote a GFAQs guide for it. Either you get it or you don't and it looks like you do. BTW, what platform (PS3, X360, PC, Switch).

      Yes they do. A company called Brook makes them. I got mine through Amazon and it works pretty well.

      Yeah, you need to look for monitors that start at 15Khz frequency - luckily I have one of them (NEC MultiSync 3D - but it's a bit small). Building your own cables can be a pain sometimes but the reward is worth it for the superior picture. As for the Pound cables, why couldn't they use the 5VDC from the AV port instead of the USB port? I don't get that at all.

    Getting a PSP, 9 games, and 1 movie off CL for 80 bucks today. Looking forward to enjoying Sony's first handheld which I have never experienced before.

      Back to Earth is technically Series IX although it is really just one long episode. I've really got to start watching Series XI since I've had the disc for months. Series XII starts filming later this year.

    Slow news day: It's pretty neat how some emulators have become like mini operating systems in and of themselves.

      An interesting thought: why not an operating system designed specifically for emulators (EmuOS)? Considering that decent PC hardware is inexpensive just buy a PC and install EmuOS then put your emulators on it? Better than putzing around with Windows I suppose.

    Per usual I have game collection ADD. Just got into my first set of GBA games and am wondering if I now need a PSP in my life.

      I'll answer yes too but you also should learn how to softmod it to get the absolute most out of it. But softmodding is very easy once you get the Micro SD/Memory Stick Duo adpater. Once softmodded you can install PSP and PSX games to the card and plenty of emulators too.

      There's a legal tussle between Toho and couple of other entities for American distribution rights that has been going on for years and has shown no signs of ending. It might be years before we see G85 on DVD/Blu-Ray legally in the US.

    (Newser) – Officials say a wayward squirrel caused about $300,000 in damage to an eastern Indiana community center set to open in June. Fort Wayne Parks Department officials say the squirrel got into the electrical equipment of the building in McMillen Park last week, causing a power surge that damaged the heating and air-conditioning systems and parts of the boiler system. Crews are working to make repairs so the center can open as planned on June 7, reports the Journal Gazette.
