A witch disguised as a tree. Bentley still got me! Ba-Humbug!

  2. Death Trap - Game X B/B 20,477 Played on: STELLA - NTSC Rom. Using 8Bitdo N30 pro gamepad. Cool game. Prefer to play it on a cx40. Feels like it would be optimised for it. Hope my retronic usb joystick adapter arrives before the weeks are out!
  3. Red Sea Crossing - Game 1 B/B 14,500 Played on: STELLA - NTSC Rom. Using 8Bitdo N30 pro gamepad. Meh.
  4. Haven't put any time into Warplock yet BG. Been smashing SW: Death Star Battle. Enjoying it! My Bump 'N' Jump is the PAL version.
  5. Bonus - Worm War I - Game 3 A/A 3,405 Post this slight improvement in case I don't get time for another try.
  6. Bonus - Worm War I - Game 3 A/A 2,775 Just roll the bloody dice!
  7. More 2600 eggs left at the front door today. SW - Death Star Battle, Super Cobra, SW - Jedi Arena, Planet Patrol, Warplock, Marine Wars, Megamania, Dragonfire & Bump 'N' Jump.
  8. I engaged dipshit mode and played the wrong Bonus Game! ie Game 1 A/A and not Game 3 A/A. Hence post editted. Thanks Nathan!
  9. Worm War I - Game 1 A/B 212,250 Played on: STELLA - NTSC Rom. Using 8Bitdo N30 pro gamepad.

That's a good question with a very interesting answer! The fee for this information is 120,000 Credits.

  12. Except for my original PS1 and Megadrive consoles .... I'm pretty much a 2600, cart only acquirer .. coz I like to play Hence I have a mild mannered Clark Kent collection that's pretty easy to maintain. Regardless, I'll use these .. https://www.retroprotection.com/Atari-Box-Protectors_c40.htm.. for clean level stacking of carts and simple Ikea cube shelving. I take a leaf outta McGiver's book and cut down some local cardboard fruit boxes to narrow the depth of the shelves, moving the carts more forward for better accessibility. They're hidden so you would never know. You can pull a cart anywhere from the stack without issues. These Ikea cubes hold EXACTLY 4 carts wide. Atari foresight in mind? My controllers are inside large zip lock bags, inside plastic bins next to the TV cabinet. You'd be surprised how many they fit. The boxes in the pic have PS1 and Sega controllers, Atari paddles x4, x2 Driving Controllers, x1 Keyboard controller and cx40s.
  13. #Bumping an older thread due to some relevance# Found this thread after researching apps. Decided on the RFGeneration route. As jeremiah mentioned, quite a bit of missing info. For the PAL collectors, I've just started to enter my 170+ PAL 2600 carts into my RFG 'Collection'. I'm also updating any missing info/variations, where applicable, and cart scans into the database.
  14. Dark Cavern 212,000 Played on: STELLA - NTSC Rom. Using 8Bitdo N30 pro gamepad. Another HSC title I haven't played. I like it. Once you get a hang of enemy movement, the gun-and-run element of the game is fun. A bit too generous on the xtra lives though... imo.
  15. Message to self .. Never play leapfrog with a Unicorn again!

It was a female unicorn that got me, so yeah, pretty sure. =P

You guys and your Unicorns...I hear they can be pretty "horny"!

  16. Bonus Skate Boardin' At 45 years of age, I recently sadly decided to hang up my board, due to niggling injuries from years of bowl and park skateboarding. The upside is I'm spending more time collecting for and playing the much beloved and gnarly '2600' . Hence, the attached screenshot from my copy of SKATE BOARDIN' .. showing 'Radical Man' cruising the streets looking for the next spot to thrash!
  17. I am just watching Mike now on lubetube and an Atari 2600 Live Stream he did recently. He was asked the question if he had the entire 2600 library and stated he was short less than 10 carts. Even if its NTSC only and no label variants ... that impressive. Sorry for the hijack! Nothing to see here. Move along!
  18. Getting into the game flow on RRII. I tried my new 8bitdo N30 Pro retro gamepad I picked up today. Far from a CX40, but craploads better than the fricken keyboard and Microsoft gamepad. Used D-pad. Sticks too sensitive for Atari. RRII definately feels like it would be optimised for the CX40. 80,950
  19. Just some shrapnel I picked up from local gamestore. Legendary Activision Barnstorming Sox and NES30 Retro Controller. USB and Bluetooth. An easy solution for emulators.
  20. 'Cross Force' ? Your mention of "stuck to the top and bottom of screen" raised this thought.
  21. For me, "like" is probably a little strong.. but I agree and your spot on in relation to the hit detection. You do get into a rhythm on your enemy interception shot timings (which is really all this game is about) .. but that numpty hit detection can be a bit of a distraction as your throwing question marks and obscene language at the screen!
