  2. Hi all,

I own a couple of Atari ST computers. I think ones a 520ST and the other a 1040ST (have I got that right?).

Any way I picked up 2 Atari monitors along the way and I need a cable that will go from the ST to the Atari monitor.

One of the monitors is a bigger colour one and the other is a smaller B&W one (I think it's B&W - not sure as haven't used it -)

Anyway I collect for most platforms such as Atari 2600, C64, Amstrad CPC, Spectrum etc. So if anyone would like to make a trade we could swap some original packaged games for the cable I need.

Or I could buy one from anyone who has one on offer but I can only pay up to US$10.00 (+ postage) as I don't play with my ST that much so it just wouldn't suffice to pay alot.

Any takers? I have Paypal and can pay that way.

    Cheers from Australia,

    Daniel Foot.

  3. Hi All,

I came across 'Tom Boy' for the Atari 2600 PAL. It's at my friends house so I'll pick it up tommorow but not sure whether I should pay him $10.00 for it ?! Any suggestions?

But I'm pretty sure the one he has is called 'Tom Kid' PAL and not 'Tom Boy'

I hate checking in and asking for rarity value but some collector may want it as I don't really

collect much for the 2600 but find some here and there.

    Cheers,

    Daniel.

  4. Hey All,

Once a collector always a collector eh Crazy!?

See Monster and Sea Monster must differ. The one I have on ebay is the 'Sea Monster' PG 201 PAL. 1982

Not the 'See Monster' PAL 0050 at the link you provided for US$7.00.

'See Monster - See Monster' was a release by the Bit Corp later on.

The one I have on ebay (link above) is the original 1982.

    Still, who knows?

    Cheers,

    Daniel.

  5. Hello All,

Recently one of these went for a bit on ebay but the auction was only open to Australian resident.

    Mine, this is on ebay.

This is the other rare one (to my knowledge) I found at a tip shop, the other one being Spider Monster I sold a few

    years back.

Feel free to bid if you think it would suit your collection.

    Cheers,

    Daniel Foot.

  6. I have 4 Lynx games at the moment. I used to have around 50 but now down to Warbirds, Ishido, Checkered Flag, Joust. Once I have 30 boxed Ishidos but sold them really cheap on ebay. I hope to get a couple of more Lynx games in the future and would especially like to get Shanghai.

    Cheers,

  7. Hey All,

Today I acquired an unusual 2600 compatible console. It says "TV GAME" on the front and it also has "2600" written in red on the right hand side. It has heaps and heaps of inbuilt games like Pitfall, Donkey Kong and many many more. Each time you press the "Game Switch" button on the front it selects a new game. On the back of the console it says "TV GAME compatible 2600" and it is made in Taiwan. I think it may be a "Talent 2600" console. It is in good condition with some cracked plastic but works well. The only info I could find is at this website with a pic. Though mine is unboxed:

I don't know whether to stick it on ebay or keep it as it is quite quirky. It may be rare but I'm open. Any further information on this console will be most appreciated. It has all of the classic 2600 games built in and more. I can post some more pics iof mine if anybody wants to send me their email address. It could do with a clean but I'm sure it would scrub up to be very cool.

    Cheers,

  8. Hello All,

It's been a while since I visited this forum. Now I have a question. I scored an Atari B&W SM-124 monitor today which was cool. But when I load up games on my STe 1024, the graphics appear for the game then the monitor displays the graphics but they are all disjointed and look a mess on the screen. I loaded 'Outrun' and 'Star Ray' and both had these jumbled graphics and it seemed the monitor wouldn't display them properly.

So my question is, is the SM124 monitor just a monitor for text and will it not display graphics? Is it worth my time taking it apart to see if I can fix the problem? Any help with my question will be much appreciated as I want to get playing some good old ST games.

    Cheers,

  9. Hello All,

I have just listed ALPINE GAMES one ebay for US$24.95. This is cheap and it is in mint condition with cartridge, manual and case. I have 206 feedback at 100% positive. First in will get it buy-it-now. Here is the link to the auction:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-Lynx-ALPINE-GAME...1QQcmdZViewItem

I hate selling it, as it is the best Lynx game by far, but I need the cash at present so I require an immediate Paypal payment so it's Paypal only. US$7.95 shipping in anywhere in the world.

    Regards,

    Nubian.
