  1. Yes, First Impact and Second Wave share the same Arcade mode. Difficulty is just starting at a different pace that ramp up afterward. Remember you can move the ship on every block, so also up and down, and not only left/right, and that the goal to make big score is to complete lines and gain levels.
  2. The audio "Oceo is back" was already there in the contest version. BTW, it is a good news to see development on the game is still going on, I am really waiting for this one.
  3. Oh, there is a new version of Minimal, it's nice, what are the improvements since the Lynx coding contest ?
  4. Which hard disk driver are you using ? For BlueScsi I think HDDriver is probably the best option. I don't know which steps you already did, so I will try not to forget one. - launch the driver program via a floppy (or another HD) so your Mega STE will recognize the hard drive - Launch the driver utility - If your image disk on the SD card is an Atari hard disk image (already formatted), skip the next step - If you have put a blank image disk on the SD Card, you must format it, and partition it. - If you have another hard drive with a driver installed on it skip the next step - You have to install the hard disk driver on your main partition so you will no more need to launch the driver from a floppy (HD will be recognised at boot) - Reboot the Mega STE, the driver should laucnh and recognise your hard drive at boot - Back on the desktop, select a floppy icon, and chose install icon option in the menu, give it the name C (uppercase) to create the icon for the C partition - Do the same for every partition - Save the desktop to keep the HD icons
  5. It is always nice when a big indie/homebrew/retro gaming site decide to write about the Atari Lynx. Thanks to the Atari 50 collection, Indie Gamer Chick decided to check the whole Atari Lynx games set. The first part of the extensive review is online with around 25 games, including commercial, prototypes and some homebrews. As you will read, there is no notation, only a Yes or No given to the game, based on her personal judgement on playability and fun in 2023 so while we all may disagree on some games, it is always well explained... 6. Yes, I am pretty proud of the tutorial but not really of the game prototype which is the one I describe as pretty crap
  7. Even if pretty crap and done in a few hours (I guess writing the tutorial took more time than doing the prototype), this can be useful, especially if you prefer to code in 😄
  8. Differents shapes or symbols on the blocks also works. This is just a POC, so not somtehing that should arrive in the future : (And I dont like the blue/green that seems too close for symbol also)
  9. I took the pictures from Songbird site, and I do not manage production, I am just acting like a reseller here.
  10. It is not complete (yet ?) for every console and especially old generations and Atari/american one, but Homebrews Connexion (retro-gc.fr) try to keep up to date list of homebrew. I know NES, Megadrive, Game Boy and probably Dreamcast, Vectrex, SMS are mostly complete.
  11. If you were interested by Ynxa that won the Atari Lynx homebrew Award last year but have no Atari Lynx, the Nintendo Game Boy is nearly ready and the Kickstarter is running right now. The game has the same level design but has been reworked to fit on DMG, Color and even Super GB. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/yastunagames/ynxa-a-new-physical-gameboy-game I am not sure I will produce many games over the Kickstarter production...
  12. For European people interested in the game, we made an agreement with Carl to have the game available in EU, so no extra VAT, and lower postage fees. You can preorder the game here : Towers 2 Enhanced Stargazer Edition (yastuna-games.com)
  13. OK, it's not related to Atari Lynx, but not 100% unrelated https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/yastunagames/ynxa-a-new-physical-gameboy-game The Kickstarter for the GB port of Ynxa is alive, and there are even special discount prices on old Lynx and GameBoy games as complement on the Kickstarter. But you can of course still get the Atari Lynx version on http://yastuna-games.com and get it sooner than the GB version via Kickstarter
  14. Thanks you, but I am not sure there will be too much to see on stream
