AV modding a heavy sixer? Always wondered how that would turn out.
Check out the middle of this page, it has pictures of where pins 2,5,7,8 and chroma are for six switchers

Yes I removed them, in order to let everything stay in place right. As soon as you solder anything to one of the points though, RF dies until you remove it. I don't know why, but because of that you can't have both RF and composite.
I just got a NIB space spartans, but on the bottom it says it requires the intellivoice. Is it true? If so I'm just going to keep it in its plastic.
Edit: Didn't know master component was the INTV itself lol
Here is my AV modded 4 switch with the resistors on 6 and 9 compared to an unmodified heavy sixer
Bank Heist looks way better on the heavy sixer, and pac-man looks better on it too, it is not as dark and has the proper colors.
I got them to stay there. It is AV modded and this just made the picture that much better.
And those lifted pins, one of them is +5V and one is data input/output I think. It's amazing that it works with them out of it!
I wish I could order one before they're taken off, but who knows if they even exist. A SD card port sounds like an amazing idea to me, but what could you do with save feature? How would it even work?
That's basically what gives it away as fake, that and Curt said so
I only have a rev 9 and rev 12, and I touched(not soldered) 2 330ohm resistors to 6 and 9, and the screen got noticeably brighter and clearer. Now if only I could find a way to make it permanent.
Yes. You would just solder them to the pins on the underside of the board.
Yeah I tried, the TIA pin and the resistor wont both fit in the hole on mine oh well
You can buy one here:

Anyone want to trade me one for a heavy sixer?
Also the controllers look fatter on the bottom than the top, and like they have an extra button on the side. The bottom of the system looks different too, as you can see in the link to buy it.

They weren't heavy sixer sticks sadly =[, but they are cx40's that work perfectly. He said he had the system since he was 12 so he probably tore through them years ago.
The combat cartridge is orange(maybe old red?) and says 01 combat.
And here is the sticker on the bottom
