  1. If you were going to try and sell one now, what would you ask for? Looking around, the only information I can really find on it, are discussions of eBay listing...15- 20 years ago!
  2. I wonder what this game would go for in 2023? Based on what I'm seeing on eBay for classic console games these days, I'm guessing 1 Billion? Seriously though. I have a bagged copy I won in a Digital Press contest years and years ago. I never played it, never even took it out of the bag.
  3. I pledged at the $150 level so I should have some physical goodness making it my way soon I hope. I almost pledged at the $300 level, I thought it would be cool to have a corpse laying around named "moycon" LOL In any case, I'm shocked this is actually happening and glad it's getting decent reviews (from what I've seen) I didn't play any of the demo's or beta stuff, been too busy the past couple years, but things have finally settled down for a bit (I think) so this is coming out at the perfect time for me.
  4. I've backed dozens of projects on Kickstarter over the past few years. This was the only outstanding one I had. Some came a year or two late, but this one was more like 5 or 6 years late! I had honestly given up on it a couple years ago. If this does come, I'll have 100% success rate on Kickstarter.
  5. Well I almost pulled the trigger, but after careful research decided to invest in the Coleco Chameleon. Seems a lot more legit. I'll admit though, that cornhole game looked off the chain.
  6. Can't argue with you on that one. A person could take their pick of the signs that no-one was dealing with a person who wasn't delusional. The sad thing is, I think the guy was being honest.
  7. Curious if anyone has "beaten" this game? I remember having fond memories of the Swordquest series as a kid. I found the concept fascinating and when my friend got the first game we stayed up until 1am (probably the latest I had intentionally stay up to that point) playing the game and finding clues. The second game always seemed so less polished, but I can remember playing that one often as well. I knew the contest never finished and the last game was never made, I know over the years a few people said they were going to make a proper closing game, or hoaxed finding the lost game, but I was really excited to see it had finally happened! That said, I haven't played the new Airworld. I've pretty much been uprooted and life has been spastic the past few years. Hoping to get settled back down later this year and get a proper gaming room set back up and try it out. Anyways, I'd be curious to see what others think of the game now that it's been out for a bit.
  8. As soon as the term "gaming racist" was uttered, everyone should have known they were listening to/dealing with a mentally unstable person.
  9. I didn't have a 5200 at launch but my good friend did and we'd play it every time I went over there. Of all the games he had, we'd play Countermeasure the most. I really love that game to this day. I call that one the best. On a side note a game that LOOKED awesome but we never figured out how to play was Astro Chase. Also he gave me his 5200 and all the games he had when we got to be high school age, I guess he outgrew videogames!? Still have it all to this day.
  10. I love Tron. I wish the original movie had been a bigger hit.
  11. It's an amazing release that's for sure! I don't usually buy games at full price, but in this case I made an exception, and it was more than worth it at that price.
  12. Anyone spend any time with Airworld? Seeing that reminded me of that time many many years ago when someone here on Atari Age said they had the game. It turned out to be a hoax, but I remember many of us were really excited at the thought of the series being completed. I never "beat" the games that I know of, but I have fond memories play them even though they kind of sucked. LOL
  13. Haha I made this because I felt the Mystique/Playaround games needed some new entries. Wow it's over 20 years old!? Hard to believe,

    H.E.R.O

Cool. I loved this game as a kid but only played it on the 2600 but then. I remember that you could "fry" that version of the game, and it would give you like 256 lives, so you could easily get through all the levels. I love the upgraded graphics of the 5200 version.
  15. Good luck Albert! Hope the migration goes smooth like!
  16. Again 20 years later... welcome to Atari Age Atarius Maximus! Will you still be posting 20 years from now?
  17. I was thinking some of it really sounds like Farmer in the Dell too, but it just seems too slow and with too many extra notes,

    Broken Vectrex

Unfortunately, the last time I went to turn on my Vectrex it wouldn't boot up and nothing I tried would remedy the situation. I could tell it was powering on but only a small dot would appear, and no sound, Too many moves over the years I guess. Sucks because I really enjoyed it. Is there any type of troubleshooting guide or does anyone in the community repair broken Vectrex systems?
  19. This looks awesome! I need to get my Vectrex back up and running.
  20. You used to be able to find annual passes around $50 now and again. I haven't checked in awhile if they still come available though.
  21. Amazing game. I liked this one immediately. Great graphics and unique gameplay. No clue why people ever tried to label it "worst game eva"
  22. Very cool looking game! I've always been impressed with the Colecovision graphics.
