I never understood why this game never got made for the early consoles (Actually it did get made for the Nintendo) Archon Remember that game? Sort of like chess. Man that game was fun. My friends and I used to play the hell out of it on Commodore 64. Can this game be made on the 2600?

I hadnt heard of it at the time. And was expexting the arcade translation. At first I was disappointed. Then I really got into it. Awesome game!!! I vouch for it also.

Dont forget the creepiest episode of Diff strokes ever...The one where a guy ( I think he also played the manager on WKRP?) Tried to molest Arnold and Dudley!! Maybe the radios could be turned into TVs showing cartoon porn that Dudley enjoyed watching so much. If you'll remember Arnold wanted nothing to do with them in the episode so its only natural he'd wanna jump over them. Also there was the Kimberly is bulemic episode. The planes could be transformed into Kimberly's hurl. Ummmmmm yeah. In any case I agree... Before the rom is released, Stan should have to pre-play it and make sure it captures the essence of the show.

I like it. The music !!!rocks!!! especially when the bass kicks in. I wouldnt compare it to Pitfall 2 tho. I havent played in awhile but I do remember the jumping would get annoying... From what I remember...For some reason you fall down (like if you walk off a platform or jump and hit your head) and have to get back up which takes a few seconds and kind of ruins the pace of the game a bit. That can get annoying. But other than that once the pressure is on to get to the top...!!!WOOHOO!!! I can remember a jump I used to to that would take me all the way up the side of the mountain you had to get to...That really cut down on the time to get to the top. I'd give it a B+

Well come-on did anyone watch the movie ET??? ( I think we need to start an ET thread here) anyways remember the part in the movie when they find ET all white and sick in the ravine? They have to climb down to him? Think of that when you fall in the hole.... And yeah you do have to either move to the right...or left...or down... when exiting... But we've all been playing games for years right??? We can handle it...Just have to say to yourself..."Self, Remember, Dont keep pushing up when you get out or you'll fall again" Now... With that in mind... Give ET another chance!!! He deserves it.

E.T. was one of my favorite games as a kid...And yes it's solvable. And to all the people who say it sux and whats so fun about falling into pits... Well dont fall in em if you dont want to.

Well the boards abuzz with updating older games graphics and making them prettier. Figured I start a topic where you list a game that needs a "facelift" and what you would do to make it more look better. Who knows maybe someone will get inspired. I'll start with Parker Brothers Popeye. I remember as a kid I was very excited that Popeye was coming to the 2600...I loved that game in the arcades. At the time it came out that truely was the cutting edge in Arcade game graphics... It was like you were controling a cartoon!! I then saw the ad in the back of a comic. PB used to advertise their games by showing a screen shot for each system at the bottom. The Atari as usual had the suckiest graphics... What made it even worse when I got it...No barrel to drop on Bluto, No Sea Hag, Bland minimalistic graphics. This is definately a game that needs a facelift!!!

Just wondering. Has anyone actually played Berenstain Bears and Smurfs Save the Day by Coleco? I know you needed the KidVid to play them. What do you do in these games? How come I havent seen any of the Smurf screenshots other than the title screen you can see on an emu? Anybody???
