So if a pushy seller keeps emailing a non-existing address for which I happen to have a catch-all, and writes he will stop emailing if the other party doesn't respond, should I reveal that the other party doesn't exist and risk him harassing me, or keep silent and wait for him to stop sending emails?

  B2B email spam unfortunately isn't punishable, at least not over here. B2C email spam is, but it is a long process and not really worth legal threatening, real or fake.
