Today, 5 chimpanzees escaped from the zoo. One returned voluntarily (it is -16 C outside), the other four were shot. At least three of them died. 😞 The zoo claimed they didn't have enough tranquilizer to sedate the apes so their only solution was to kill the chimps as soon as possible.

  I feel sorry for the chimps, I do but I can't help but wonder if the sedative shortage is due to said chimps being overly curious and OD'ing on sedatives.
