You'll find that prices for shipping are similar in our store. Sending without tracking and having PayPal payments does not mix, so even something like a sticker has to be shipped as a parcel. I'll be working on my own versions (including the Japanese ones) soon. My recommendation is to get something else from the store at the same time to make shipping worthwhile 🙂

I've looked into 3D printing them but it's much too difficult for the shape. There is a possibility of doing a crowd-funded Kickstarter if people are interested, @BennVenn and I have discussed it several times in the past. So if enough people are interested, we could make it a reality. A crystal clear shell would be cool!

Thanks @Starwander, I think I will still make my own versions as well as the Japanese versions too. I'm working with a sticker manufacturer for a bunch of other stickers I need so making 4 more designs is not a big deal. 🙂

Hello! I know there was a thread about this years ago that seemed to have fizzled out. I'm in the process of ordering a bunch of stickers and wanted to check if people still wanted the reproduction stickers for the rear of the Lynx 1 case. I know many of the originals get worn out pretty badly at times. The first batch will be the more common Taiwan made Lynx 1. I will later make the Japanese version stickers with Kanji writing on them. Let me know if you're interested in purchasing these. Here's the back of my Lynx 1 for reference...

BennVenn started work on new firmware to support something like that, @SainT's Lynx Game Drive already has a cheat mode so it's possible, but it's not priority at the moment.

I think it works on some consoles, but not the majority of them. Will need to do more testing before the next jam! Your white lynx always looks cool!

I really like the enhanced graphics, though in terms of gameplay - I am so terrible at this kind of game, I have no idea what I'm doing and my characters just end up dead ?

I've seen some other carts that had a battery on them, that's yet another tech, but probably not worth emulating. I'm going to be starting on the updated menu this week.

Great! LYX is a header-less version of LNX, the LNX file has a 64 byte header at the start that has information about the ROM, name, size, etc. ElCheapoSD needs the LNX version, so you can convert your LYX to LNX and it should work on the ECSD.

More or less, there was a feature that we asked all devs to add to their game after the submission before it was put on cart, but that doesn't work on all Lynx consoles so we never talked about it. For scoring purposes they should be the same. Errr, just realised this is LynXmas, not LynxJam. Yep they are the same.
