  1. I really like the idea of that custom storage on the ceiling. I've been thinking of doing something similar in my apartment but haven't got around to it yet.
  2. Got this sealed copy of Battlezone 2000 for Atari Lynx today
  3. I bought this a while back not knowing if it's worth anything or how legit it actually is. Hoping someone here could confirm if this an authentic Telegames Bubble Trouble box and cart. Also would be great to know what if anything this is worth... Thanks in advance to anyone with some info on this game and box.
  4. Here's a better view of the shelf. I have more games as just carts vs those that have boxes at this point.
  5. Sounds like your mosfet mod didn't go according to plan. Try to putting the original in to see what voltage you get. You really want it to be as close to 5V as possible.
  6. It holds 80 The cabinet is quite tall. The links I provided have a few more photos showing its full size. I'll try and take a better photo of it today.
  7. Hi All, I wanted to share this shelving unit I built to house my Lynx games collection. It was a one day project with the aim of creating a stand-alone unit that I could have sitting in my office room to display my Lynx collection. The dimensions I went for meant I could store 80 boxes, which was enough to house the original game collection, plus some extras. The end result was great, though it took about a week for the finishing oil to truely dry out. Here is a picture... I did the design for it in OpenSCAD (because I could) The files for the design are available on ThingiVerse - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2490545 These can be customised to suit too, there are a bunch of variables at the top of the file that lets you define how many shelves you want, how many game boxes per shelf, your wood widths, etc. You could potentially make it fit other types of boxes, not just Lynx game boxes. I also wrote about building this thing on my blog here: Building a custom Atari Lynx game box storage shelf unit in a day If anyone ends up using these plans to build their own, I'd love to see it!
  8. Hello SainT, I'm interested in the uncased version of the cart. Please add me to the list. Thanks!
  9. Great! Glad to see people are interested. I split up my write up into five parts, here they are: Console Disassembly Re-capping the motherboard Speaker replacement Screen cover replacement McWill's LED screen installation At some point in the future I want to experiment with the CPU frequency hack as well. I also have a bunch of carts that have corroded contacts so looking at using something like DeoxIT on them. Any comments/feedback on my Lynx repair project are very welcome!
  10. Hello, I've joined this forum a while back but have mostly just been a reader and not a poster. Last weekend I took the time to repair and mod one of my Lynxes so thought it would be interesting for others if I shared my experience. It took me a whole day to do everything but the results were well worth it. I ended up re-capping the motherboard, fixing a broken speaker, replacing the cracked clear plastic screen cover and finally installing McWill's LED screen mod. The console feels like a brand new machine now and I'm very pleased with the results. I wrote up all of this on my blog as it is way too much information and commentary to put into a forum post (plus all the photos and a couple of videos). If people are interested, I am more than happy to share links to my blog covering this (I didn't want to just spam these as my first post here).
