It's probably fine... things are made to ship in those boxes. Retail package design tends to be made to withstand shipping. Still if they didn't at least stick it in box that is bad. But that doesn't mean it's directly Amazon's fault. Anyone can sell there.

Thanks for the assurance, but also delivered from Amazon Fulfillment Services with a nice sized dent into one edge...last time they sent my package to the wrong address and no idea where it ended up. Got a refund, but they were then out of stock. I'll stay calm until I test it now.

I've had that happen twice- second time was just a few weeks ago, Christmas toy came with a label right on the box. Luckily, it came off clean so I could gift it properly. First time was my frickin' Xbox One- the one and only time the UPS guy knocked & waited for someone to answer so he could hand them the package directly. I am grateful to that guy.
