Seems like a good deal, but I have too much Commodore sh!+ already.
I just posted to bump you and comment that I had the exact same boxed copy of Risk as a kid. I remember thinking the load times killed the fun and would just play Lord's of Conquest instead. I played a lot of C64 games, so if the load times bothered me they had to be horrendous.
It took me about three hours to play against five easy computer opponents. The flow seemed ok once it started moving.

I've had this for a few years and have used it only a couple times so I'm gonna let it go if anyone wants it.
I've played Risk on it a few times but that's extent of my explorations with it. The disk drive came from another person on Ebay and has been modified somehow, hence the additional switches on the front. I don't remember what the guy stated they were for but the drive loads programs from disk so I didn't investigate any further. The computer has a box, not an awesome one, with inserts and original power supply. All the plastic has the typical yellow "patina" and doesn't appear to have any smokers residue on anything. In addition to Risk there are four other floppies with random games, and floppies for Questron and Coil Cop. I loaded Coil Cop but not the others. I haven't tried any other peripherals like joysticks of cassette drives. There are also two serial cables and I'll throw in a RCA cable for the video.
$150.00 is my price + shipping from 32506. I'll box it up and get a weight and dimensions here shortly.
Willing to entertain other reasonable offers as well.
Open to trades, but I'm really trying to raise some tuition funds for my last semester of college so money is tight.

Original= Iconic, but horrible.
I agree. Horrible may be a bit generous though IMO. I hate them and refuse to use them.

Its funny that the answering machine is $40 more than the $60 Vader on the page before. The Vader has somewhat retained its value, where the answering machine is a total doorstop replaced by a service that everyone has but no one uses.

The last CRT I saw at a store was at Toy's R' Us like five years ago. It was shaped kind of like Lightning McQueen from Pixar's "Cars" movie. I think it was a 13" or 20".

End labels... a topic unto itself!

While the video below was made for TI-99/4A users, the same technique could be used for end labels on many different brands of cartridges. Glue stick does hold for a LONG TIME, without damaging the label... but not as well when the label has multiple bends on it like on a 3.5" diskette.
Funny. Gmail couldn't read the "Omega" symbol, and I got this.
--- Ω --- quoted a post you made

I use a clear dry craft glue. If I don't have an end label, I make one with a Dymo label maker.

Many people follow a particular YouTubber because they personally identify with their style or personality. It has little to do with gaming. The same patterns are repeated by people who adamantly watch any particular news channel or web feed.

Unlimited time to play, collect, mod ecettera....
Given enough time all other limitations can be overcome

Looks pianful to play.

If the console is on and your "storing" it with a game paused for a week or two or three. Then In.

The only duplicates I have are the ones Al doesn't want to cannibalize for homebrews. Send them shits in you hoarders.

I couldn't help but noticing that a lot of people mentioned Katamari Damacy here and I never played that. Maybe I'll track down a copy, but does anybody know if Beautiful Katamari for the Xbox 360 is any good?
It appears to be very similar to the other titles. Since you are just rolling a ball around that picks up objects I don't know what they could do to change the gameplay. Its a very quirky game that is very easy to learn and difficult to put down and has a great replay factor. Things stick to the ball based on the size of the ball. Meaning as the ball grows so does its ability to pick up larger objects. Also odd shaped things make the ball more harder to move around. The music and plot also compete for which one is either completely annoying or absolute genius.

I liked all the FPS games that were set in WW2. I can barely stand them now, to much fluff and extra stuff that just isn't necessary.
Other than MoH COD I played a lot of Ghost Recon jungle storm online in Co-Op.
Vice City and Katamari Damacy were the others that got tons of play.

That what happens when store employees know nothing about what they are selling.
$12.99 for Pac-Man? Really?

I've taken the actual pots apart by prying the tabs up and cleaning the contact surfaces. This couldn't be done more than a time or two. The other methods stated above will probably work better for most people and not risk damaging the components.

Double ++ if there's an end label. Apollo is notorious for loosing their end labels.

Whatever the biggest one I can get is. Depending on the size of the room and proximity of course. The TV in the living room is 60 something and is fun for GTAV and FPS games. My desktop is around 20'' perfectly adequate for the distance. My Stella and other vintage stuff get play on a little 13" CRT due to space limitations.

Porky's is pretty much the only platformer I like. Fun and challenging.
UltraSCSIcide is a fun homebrew if its still available from the AtariAge store.
