  1. Those longer cases are only used with the first games. Later on they switched to normal cd cases. A lot of games came with a outer sleeve, but most of them got trown away.

The 7th guest on cd-i is often seen as the best version available.

    Other good games are:

    Christmas Crisis

    Lucky Luke the videogame

    The apprentices

    Secret Mission

    Hotel Mario

    PAC-panic

    Mutant rampage bodyslam

The cd-i is also host to a lot of lightgun shooters. Best of all, the cd-i lightgun can be uses on a lcd tv. I like those American Laser games.

Also Fmv games like escape from cybercity, braindead 13, dragon's lair, space age, are the best versions available on consoles.

  2. Well where do you draw the line with collecting cd-i stuff. There is a lot of educational cd-i's. Do you count them also for the complete list? I only collect games for the cd-i. I got about 85 games for the cd-i. But that is nowhere near a complete list. The're a lot of regional games in the market that didn't got released in other countries. Also there isn't a definitive list of games so collecting for the cd-i isn't easy.

  3. Games prices changing a lot. Would never pay 350 for Zelda although i'm a real cd-I collector myself.

Since i live in the Netherlands near Eindhoven, it's pretty easy to find cd-i stuff in the wild. Since a lot of employees from Philips bought a cd-i player with lots of discount.

  4. Yeah, i hoped to see a amiga cd32 topic also.

It's a nice machine. But mine needs a but of work. The drive isn't reading disks that well anymore, so i need to find a replacement drive.

Did you know that a lot of amiga cd32 came with 2 caps installed the wrong way arround. I fixed that in my cd32, i also made a keyboard for my cd32 that can hook up to the port on the side of the cd32. I used a hacked amiga 500 keyboard for this.

  5. Guess most Dragon users would be in the UK, since they didn't sell really well on the main continent. I do love my videopac, but it has to be noted that the last years a lot of multicarts have been released. I have 1 multicart and for me that's more then enough for me.

That doesn't mean others wouldn't want to buy it. I do love the idea of using a single cart for multiple systems. Keeps the cost down. But i don't like barebone pcb solutions. I have a cpc464 cart, and really love that thing, but i miss a shell for it. If i'm correct somebody did design a shell for it and released the files in public so one could print one if you would have a 3d printer. Still need to find somebody with a printer that can print one shell for me.

Like MJB and scotty said, videopac.nl would be the place to post this. I guess you wouldn't have a problem selling some 30 units without a problem. The other 20 i don't know.

  6. What cable do you use? Do you use a scartcable connected to the monitor port? Are you sure you're amiga is in NTSC mode? I have my amiga hooked up to my tv using a scart to monitor cable, and i have no problem running it on my tv. But i live in a Pal region, so scart is pretty common here, don't know if there is some diverence between a Pal scart and a Ntsc scart connector.

  7. You could use a floppy emulator. It's not the best option, but it's not to expensive.

I bought a gotek clone from China that had jumpers inside to set it to 720k. Had to change some other setting, otherwise i got a disk offline error.

But it works with my msx2. I write the dsk files to a flashdisk and then i can use them.

Since you have a msx1 you cannot use this option, since you don't have a diskcontroller.

I'm also looking for the megaflash option, but the steep price keeps me from buying it yet.

  8. Well it ain't Dutch, sounds more like German.

But anyway, here is a video from Phil's Computerlab that pretty much covers it all.

U need to format the drive into partitions of 1.44 mb. Some models kan also emulate a 720kb drive, but not all. I use ome of suchs drives in my MSX2 computer, and after thinkering with the settings i have it running and it works really great.
