  1. More Minecraft from me. This time all on PC. I think my XBox One finally died for good. PC Minecraft (for Windows) 2054
  2. It's not much, but I actually have some classic time to report this week! Atari 2600 Asteroids Attack (demo) 10
  3. XOne Minecraft 1992 Just one game, all on XBox One this time.
  4. PC Minecraft (for Windows) 734 XOne Minecraft 1060 <- digital, bedrock edition
  5. This game is on my backlog list as well. I played it briefly on a DS multi-cart (that now does not function), and I would like to get a DS multi-cart working some day. Maybe I should get on that. How did the emulator deal with the dual screen on that handheld?
  6. Thanks for the clarification question - it was digital Bedrock. I do still have that physical version specifically titled "Xbox One edition," but it stayed on the shelf this past week.
  7. PC Minecraft (for Windows) 870 XOne Minecraft 1341 X Series X/S Out of Space 53 Lot's more Minecraft. Like, too much and across platforms. Sheesh, they sure make it easy to waste your actual life on this virtual world. --- We are trying to achieve the "Max Trader Villiage." To do this you have to 1) Find a village <- not as easy as it sounds 2) Figure out how to give the villagers all the unique professions 3) Keep them alive 4) Level up their professions by trading with them I built a guild hall and a giant 10-story tower for the "Librarian" profession that we are calling "The Citadel" (working name thanks George RR Martin).
  8. PC Minecraft (for Windows) 1350 X Box Series X/S Merge & Blade 7 Out of Space 80 All modern gaming for me again this week. We tried raiding a Nether Bastion in Mindcraft and it kicked our butt. Now we are doing the max trading village thing.
  9. No classic time for me this week - just modern coop gaming.
  10. PC Minecraft (for Windows) 1100 XOne Out of Space 32 Lots more coop Minecraft with a heavy dose on Sunday.
  11. Dreamcast San Francisco Rush 2049 101 Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 25 Some Dreamcast racing this week. I am really just not experienced with the genre at all from like 1998 forward, so I had never played any "Rush" game. I had fun with San Francisco Rush 2049 and enjoyed the different game modes very much. Lots of fun little secrets to find on the map etc. I would have played Tokyo Extreme Racer 2, but the GD-ROM emu that I have was crashing. It could be the SD card that I am using tho play this specific game, but I got into it enough to see that it is very similar to the original Tokyo Highway Challenge with some nice improvements. Would like to play it more.
  12. PC Minecraft (for Windows) 2094 XBox 360 Fallout New Vegas 995 XBox One Out of Space 67 XBox Series X/S Arcade Paradise 82 Peggle 2 46 A big week as I had a lot of time off at home to play. My wife and I are playing Minecraft all the wrong ways and trying to make progress as quickly as possible while still really being pretty uneducated about the game. Still we are really getting our value out of that GamePass subscription this month as we can play together effortlessly on Xbox or PC. I'm also still playing New Vegas, but it took a back seat to co-op in Minecraft for most of the weekend.
  13. PC Minecraft (for Windows) 545 X360 Fallout New Vegas 250 XOne Out of Space 85 Touryst, The 90 Less Fallout this week. My wife has decided she wants to play Minecraft, so we've been playing that together along with some other games.
  14. Baby PacMan is so good, and the original game is so unique that I've thought for a while that @PacManPlus should scrub the PacMan out of it and release it on Steam for sale. Anyone who has ever wanted to revisit the format would instantly recognize it, but it really could be cleaned up pretty easily to avoid a direct comparison to the original.
  15. PC Minecraft (for Windows) 222 XOne Catastronauts 34 Out of Space 60 X360 Fallout New Vegas 1750 I started playing Fallout New Vegas last week and got much deeper in this week. I actually started a new game on the so-called "hardcore" mode which doesn't change difficulty but forces you to eat, drink, and sleep. I like managing that stuff better though - feels more like playing Wasteland or an older RPG.
  16. An end of an era, but I can see at least one explanation. The legal aspect of selling some of those games was always a little questionable (I think), and as the "retro" game market has gathered steam and become more profitable, the risks have likely increased. My personal preference has always been original IP anyway. Except for Baby Pac-Man. That game is an incredible gift to the community.
  17. I beat levels 1 and 2. There was an extra life on level 1 in the upper left corner of the screen where you start. Once I played it a few times, I got it down to where I could clear level 1 (on normal) without dying. I then beat level 2 on that same game, but then quickly got a game over on level 3. Once you beat the boss and advance to the next level, the game let's you continue from there the next time you start (if you want). It seems to require that strategy of repeating the level until you master it type of game loop. I adjusted to using the "hover" ability heavily. Once you are hovering with the jet pack, you can fly in any direction and you never run out of fuel. That realization made things easier.
  18. Never heard of this one. I will have to check it out. I have gone through the process of Memory Card boot and installing a HD, so I should be able to get to this collection that way.
  19. PC Forza Horizon 5 128 Minecraft (for Windows) 403 Xbox 360 Fallout New Vegas 175 XOne Out of Space 54 I have been switching to Forza on the PC, and I think I should have logged some time for it on PC last week too. Regardless, my time is decrease in that one. I'm mostly playing now just to spend time with my nephew who recently discovered the game.
  20. So many of the great games (God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Lego Star Wars) can be found on successor systems. It is sort of a shame in a way, but you can play A LOT of the great games from the PS2 library on a handful of other systems. However, there are a few games where the license has prevented that from happening. The original Guitar Hero games were only on PS2 and are still a treat to play today. Although many of the songs from those versions were ported forward. IMO the best James Bond games of all time were on PS2 in Everything or Nothing and From Russia with love. You can also only find the ESPN NFL 2k Series on PS2 (and orig XBox). I'll probably think of a few more.
  21. I almost never get excited for pre-release stuff, but Starfield really looks great.
