    I just learned that between 2012-2016, Sweden was ranked #30 in baseball which isn't particularly high, but better than the current rank at #72.

      I did a quick search to see if maybe there was a prominent Swedish-born pitcher who played in the MLB from '12-'16, but I couldn't find anything (quickly).  Having a single starting pitcher who played in America would mean they could probably count on at least one victory in most European tournaments.

    "Bald as Medusa!"  I thought today, as I looked at my front tire.  After work, giving a coworker a ride home, on I-25 going about 70MPH,  we had a blowout!*  I pulled over to the shoulder without issue and called a tow truck.  Now I have 4 new tires and more credit card debt, but everyone's safe thankfully!

    Which classic 1 player game would you like to receive a multiplayer mode? I personally think some split screen Tomb Raider action would be fun/weird.

      For my answer to the question, I'll say Tron arcade.  It would have been cool to have a buddy in all those stages.

    Watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture yesterday and promptly passed out. I thought people were exaggerating.

      I think a harsh re-edit of the film would do it wonders.  I don't know if there is any footage left to replace and re-arrange, but shorter would definitely be better for that one.  I recently watched it on BluRay with the special feature turned on that popped up facts during the movie.  That was my favorite viewing of that specific movie ever.  I also never realized that the theme was re-used for TNG!

    Since I've made a gaming career at playing games late, I'm playing Celeste right now.  Loving it so far, not loving some of the difficulty so much, lol.

    Another difficult subject: science. We’re doing chemistry, and figuring out how ions work is proving to be quite a challenge.

      AP chemistry kicked my a$$ in high school.  I don't think I ever studied for a test harder than the AP chem test (and I didn't do great either).

      @Tickled_Pink "Bangor City's 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid"  As a life-long fan of teams that have no business winning championships this type of memory/story is what I love about sports.  However, the reality these days is that professional sports are less about competition and fair play and more about making a TV show.  The trend will continue to move toward whatever adds more viewers.

      I get where Real is coming from, and I just think it is headed this way anyway.  I know the most about the French league and there are some clubs that play PSG, Lyon and Marseille who are kept afloat by the league itself.  The competition level REALLY dips fast after a small top layer.  I mean when was the last time you tuned in for a match with FC Lorient or Stade Brestois? I am sure it is similar in Spain.

    Dune! on the Genesis is a freaking awesome RTS. Loads of fun considering it's one of the first of that genre. Little clunky and frustrating at times but once you except it for what it is, it's a pretty damn good game for a 16bit console.

    could some one help me please, it’s driving me mad, lol

     

    i have bought an old Woody Atari 2600.  It has the UK type aerial male connector lead attached to it.  So easily can go in any aerial female connection.

     

    but

     

    I have connected my old VCR to my TV via a scarf lead, I have then connected the Atari aerial type male connector to the VCR.  When I click the on and off switch on the Atari, it has found the signal on the tv screen but no picture.  I got sound.
     

    It’s got something with colours but faint, when I turn the Atari off, both the sound and screen go off so I no it’s somewhere their.  
     

    I can’t get pic on, please, please, please can some one. Help, thank you Steve

    Have you completed the Amico Moon Patrol Demo? I have. I was wondering what you all thought of it:

    -Can you explain your experience with the demo?

    -What control types did you try? Did you prefer one setup to the other?

    -Have you convinced anyone else to try the demo? What were there opinions?

    -Checkpoint X was tough, right? Or am I just out of practice?

    I think Amazon Returns are the biggest pain in the ass there is.  Details are missing and wrong, your account never will show a plus balance, it uses your refund for Prime without telling you, Clicking on it will Always say wait 7 days and it will show up in your back account or credit card when in fact it was already applied to orders as if it were reward points...And to top it all off I had to ReOrder the part at a higher price because a replacement was never offered (when That was what I asked for)...**End of rant**

      Wow - I've had no problem with returns.  Although I am usually satisfied with getting money on the GC balance.  The last few I have done, the UPS man actually showed up at my door to pick them up.  I barely had to do anything.

    Ninja Kombat work in progress update!

    This will be 1 player or 2 player when I am finished. This is a very incomplete work in progress. At the moment there is no sound, no fatalities, no game over or stage transition, and the moves and timing still all need to be tweaked.. but the core engine seems to be working smoothly.
