  1. There is a tiny hole near the left trigger. The reset button is inside the hole. I used a small precision screw driver.
  2. The 1987 Atari Corp. rerelease with manual, those are not easy to find. Although with Stargate, even the original 1984 Atari, Inc. releases are not exactly easy to find either.
  3. I had the same problem. I reset the controller and it paired fine right after.
  4. I know John Stamos Mullet had a similar thread in the 2600+ forum, but that one had a much more negative premise than this one. I am not trying to say anything negative about the users, just to point out that the sheer number of new users hanging around the 2600 forum lately is quite large. I would guess most of that is due to the 2600+ and maybe the Gamestation Pro a little bit too. I have not seen any sales numbers for those consoles, but going by the increased traffic here at AtariAge, it seems those consoles have tapped into a decent core of people now getting back into the 2600. Of course some of the new users might be old users who have resurfaced, but I think those would be less than the brand new ones. It has brought a new feeling here to the forums. Plenty of topics that have been discussed before reemerging, which I have no problem with. These new users have some different views on these topics than the people who have been here a decade or two. I do not know, it just feels a little bit different here lately, and that is not a bad thing. And I guess I should add, all the new users welcome to AtariAge.
  5. I would 100% not change the label on the Video Checkers. Even in rough condition, the Atari Corp. rereleases are tough to find.
  6. Holy crap! You have been thinking about this question for 21 and a half years! I am glad you finally formulated an answer. I would go insane thinking on a question for two decades.
  7. Just games from the 1970s, hmm. 1. Breakout 2. Combat 3. Indy 500 4. Video Olympics 5. Air-Sea Battle 6. Superman 7. Surround 8. Space War 9. Starship 10. Basic Math
  8. So the regular price for Atari 50 is only $29.99?
  9. I have not watched the video yet, but since you used a VCS 800, I hope you covered both versions of Missile Command.
  10. I believe Atari 50 is usually $39.99.
  11. The Polymega cartridge reader is not going to replace a 2600 or 2600+. For many the experience of putting cartridges in and taking them out is best done on a woodgrain instrument. And for me, my 2600 gaming is done on an original system hooked up to a crt.
  12. 61,707, 61,708, 61,709, 61,710, 61,711, 61,713, 61,714, 61,715, 61,717, and 61,719 for Berzerk: Recharged, Quantum: Recharged, Caverns of Mars: Recharged, Yars: Recharged, Centipede: Recharged, Black Widow: Recharged, Asteroids: Recharged, Breakout: Recharged, Gravitar: Recharged, and Akka Arrh just bought a little bit ago.
  13. Was it that football game that was on sale for about a minute a year or two ago?
  14. I think they are putting some games on sale today.
  15. The only 20th Century Fox movie that had a video game adaptation that was not done by the 20th Century Fox video game publishing. Game is not bad, you can definitely have some fun with
  16. I really love finding old scores written in manuals. During the last Master System High Score Club, we were playing Shinobi. My copy of Shinobi had the (most likely) original owner's scores written in the manual. It was fun measuring my progress against his. I eventually surpassed him and beat the game, something I do not think he ever did.
  17. I could be misremembering, but was Cosmic Commuter released after you left Activision?
  18. I would have rather heard about Atari acquiring another iconic arcade manufacturer ip, but I am sure Atari has a plan with this company I have never heard of.
  19. Well since it looks like a 2600 cartridge might not happen, I went ahead and bought it on the VCS, along with Montezuma's Revenge. I think I have stumbled upon a glitch though. After finishing the second level my score started going haywire. I am at over 300,000 and still climbing. Or maybe I am just that good.
  20. 60,434 for Alien Abduction and 60,435 for Montezuma's Revenge bought right now.
  21. Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that Atari has the go ahead to make an Alien Abduction physical cartridge? All this time I thought that John Van Ryzin would not let Atari make a physical cartridge. @TrogdarRobusto @Albert @davpa Guys, let the higher-ups at Atari know this would be a seller. I understand if it would cost more because I am sure John Van Ryzin commands a hefty price tag comparatively speaking, but get this done.
  22. No, they released the list of 12 games. We were trying to figure it out in the thread and there were 10 obvious games, but the last two were not. Atari then released the full list after I think a media member asked them for it.
  23. Atari Karts was superior to Super Mario Kart in every way except for the fighting and power-ups. As a pure racer, Atari Karts was 10 times the game Super Mario Kart was.
  24. The VCS lost money for Atari, but most of those losses are in the past. We have no idea how much money it makes (or loses) currently. To say Atari should drop support for the VCS right now without that knowledge is ridiculous. Considering they still have stock to sell, I think it could be entirely possible that continuing support for the VCS might be the smartest move for Atari.
