  1. I hope that poor sod is getting paid now to do all this documenting. Or maybe just the opportunity to play the games is payment enough.
  2. I can live with 2/10 of a second delay, but 3/10 is probably a deal breaker.
  3. The single controller on one cord were the Driving Controllers and they only worked on Indy 500 (Sears Race).
  4. As I recall, the Jaguar car company, or whoever owned them back then, had a problem with Atari calling their system the Jaguar. I believe they wanted a unit to look at, but one of the Tramiels balked at that.
  5. Yep. The current mayor lives a block away from me.
  6. Actually I do know why Rush was chosen for Yars'. Yar is Ray, as in Ray Kassar, backwards, and Ray Kassar's favorite novel was The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
  7. I thought about both of those songs, but I could not come to a surefire pick. Can't You Hear Me Knocking was another one I considered.
  8. Atari put the Lynx game Super Asteroids & Missile Command on Antstream Arcade, and each game actually has a challenge. The challenge for each is simply play the game for a high score, but still it is nice there is a challenge. Not to brag, but I am currently in first place for both games. My Super Missile Command score was actually my first attempt.
  9. I barely played Mortal Kombat, but I did put in quite a bit of time into Rampage. Sucks to see Warner Bros. leave, but I have to say the response by Antstream is one of the best responses I have ever seen from a company. As far as Warner Bros. potentially selling those games off, I doubt it of course, but if they were to sell would they need to pull the games off of Antstream first? If pulling the games off of Antstream is a requirement, then we can certainly hope. If Atari and Wade Rosen pulled this off, it would be hard to say anything negative about it and it would make news everywhere gaming related.
  10. Anybody know Scott Stilphen? He has not been on in 20 years. If you do, let him know his question from 22 years ago has been answered.
  11. Oh man, I think I am going to have to pull the Veteran's Day card. I mean you cannot deny a veteran on Veteran's Day, can you?
  12. I claim it. I mean first come first served is just as good as a lottery, right?
  13. Does that include Albert? If so, hey @Albert, I got a proposition for you.
  14. I could see Flash Gordon working for Asteroids. It's funny three of my top five or six rock bands are on that list.
  15. That is for one color. If you want the jacket, get it in one of the three other colors available to everybody. If that one color being unavailable to you is that big of a deal, then go through the process to be able to get it.
  16. It sounds like what happened to Atari with Tailgunner happened everywhere else too. As far as Alien Abduction, Atari may have been legally okay to keep the game on the store, and still.chose to take it down at the request of the developer, John Van Ryzin. Atari is probably erring on the side of keeping the developer happy, even if they have some wiggle.room. Redownloading games that have been removed sounds like a hassle, but not that big of a deal. You can still do it, you just have to go through an extra step and it takes a little bit longer. I do not understand why that is making people as mad as it is. @John Van Ryzin I hope you allow Atari to sell the game on the store again. It was on my list of games to buy, but I had not grabbed it yet.
  17. Honestly this whole who is the real Digital Eclipse is getting ridiculous. Atari and Mr. Rosen just need to buy Code Mystics I guess.
  18. I do not think they have the rights to Battlemorph anymore. I am pretty sure they sold Battlemorph to Songbird Productions when Chesnais was there.
  19. Two things, first, Alien Abduction was licensed by Atari. If it has in fact been removed Atari may have had no choice. Second, if it has been removed, Atari should start announcing when a title is going to be removed so people have a chance to grab it before it is gone.
  20. I know nothing about the pricing on licensing, maybe some of those game might be worth that. If Warner thinks some of the top games are worth that, I am sure they have different pricing for some of the less known titles. Maybe Atari could pry away some less marketable titles, like Blasteroids, Rampart, Cyberball, etc.
  21. Make Curt the first annual Lifetime Achievement Award recipient retroactively.
  22. Is Digital Eclipse the company behind the old Xbox Live Gameroom?
