  1. I must have misunderstood Ben, so that is good. But still, no CX-24 ProLine Controllers? How sad.
  2. You mean not only are we not getting new ProLines, we are not getting even a thumbstick for the JoyPad? What kind of abomination is this?
  3. You could have given me a heads-up so I could have added it to my poll. You can just go ahead and PM with any additions the poll needs.
  4. I cannot say I am surprised by this, but I was not expecting this so soon after the Ronimo games. I really wish they could buy a publisher or developer with some classic games in their catalogue though. I wonder if this could let them get some Karateka ports out there, but I do not know anything about the deal Digital Eclipse had for Karateka.
  5. I just bought Haunted House and Days of Doom with no problems. Of course I have never had the zip code problem. My card information was lost one time and I had to reenter it, but outside of that I have had no problems with the VCS Store.
  6. The acquisition of Awesomenauts and Swords & Soldiers was the first acquisition after the creation of this poll. This one would fall into the "something more modern" option, which at the time was tied for sixth place in the poll. Hopefully next time Atari will acquire something higher up on our want list.
  7. Having this code relayed in this thread made me get on and grab it, along with buying Haunted House for $15.99 and Days of Doom for $29.99. This free game cost me some money.
  8. #48,294 for Haunted House and #48,295 for Days of Doom bought today. Also picked up Simple Light Cycles and Haunted House: 2600 for free today. Closing in on 50,000.
  9. It looks like they are going to continue operations, but this would be a perfect acquisition for Atari if they could get all the Universal stuff. @TrogdarRobusto I assume Atari is well aware of this situation, but Atari should know this would be met with some excitement from the community.
  10. Actually level 8 is the easiest. Then it goes from 1 to 7, increasing in difficulty for each higher level.
  11. Did you ever get a VCS Developer Kit to Spain?
  12. Atari grabbed that license and the one for the sequel, Mania Challenge. They released Mat Mania Challenge for the 7800.
  13. Battlezone is owned by Rebellion, hence the whole poll option of getting Battlezone back from Rebellion. I am pretty sure Atari owns the rights to Star Wars arcade and Return of the Jedi arcade. Atari Games owns only Empire Strikes Back arcade I believe.
  14. It was actually $401 shipped, but close enough.
  15. Can they be bought out during suspension? A company that has not operated in almost four decades cannot be worth that much.
  16. If the Imagic catalog is not owned by Activision, then who does own it? This would be a great acquisition. I do not think any of the Imagic games have any other licensing issues either.
  17. I always thought Activision acquired the Imagic rights since they released a few Imagic games in the late 1980s.
  18. Another great episode. As I was watching the review section, I thought of a question. @ubersaurus, do you plan to use any reviews from the TV Guide video game section?
  19. Doesn't Atari already own everything from Kee Games?
  20. I think it is much more likely that Atari can buy or license some Activision titles now that Microsoft owns Activision. Microsoft had said and done plenty of things that would fall in the realm of game preservation. I also think Microsoft is just more likely to want to do something with those old games.
  21. There are more than two. I somehow hit the enter button while creating the poll and it created the topic before I was ready.
  22. Since Atari has been making news lately for acquisitions, I thought we could do a poll for what acquisition people would like to see next. Fortunately, it has been confirmed that Atari got the rights to Math Gran Prix back in the Accolado/GT Interactive/Microprose deal. I think we can all agree that getting Math Gran Prix back would have run away with this pole. I think we can also safely say that whatever wins will become the top priority for Wade Rosen and Atari. Right @TrogdarRobusto and @davpa?
