  1. That trailer has my interest piqued, but I really wish it was coming to the VCS 800. It does also make me think Gravitar.
  2. The last update I remember from @davpa regarding Lunar Lander Beyond was that the developers did not have a VCS 800 dev system and Atari was having trouble getting them one. Maybe that has changed, but maybe not.
  3. After my limited experience with Game Sack way back, I came to the conclusion that David White (did not know his name) and Joe Redifier were both idiots. I actively avoided the channel since then, unless I wanted some extremely biased game commentary. I remember the first time they ever covered the Jaguar, they pitted a dozen or so games against the SuperGrafx. They of course both agreed the SuperGrafx with a total library of SIX games was the much better console, and then came to the Jaguar forum to shill their video.
  4. Didn't the Telegames releases have a manual like that? Look at the bottom on the back of the box, does it say Telegames or mention made in the UK?
  5. I do want to thank you for answering. I assume this was acquired with the Accolade /GT Interactive deal. Let Mr. Rosen know that we would like to know the rest of the games in that deal.
  6. I think we all know what this means. Atari 50 DLC unlockable game.
  7. This thread has gotten a little off track, but I think I can speak for all AtariAge users when I say that the most important question that Atari can answer is this; did Atari get the rights back to Math Gran Prix?
  8. I have seen this commercial countless times, and I do not think I ever noticed the keyboard being there before.
  9. As a VCS 800 owner, I quite like it. How much have you played yours? I think it has some pretty fun games. Could I get those games elsewhere? Probably, but I do not spend a whole lot of time scouring games on the Xbox Store. On the VCS 800, I can keep up with all the releases and not get overwhelmed with the thousands of games in the Xbox Store.
  10. One of my local game stores has got a few Tandy CoCo systems for sale. I know nothing about these, so if I get something wrong, just let me know. One is I think the first Tandy CoCo for $80. Another is the same thing, but with a 16K RAM badge, also for $80. The third is a CoCo 3 for $100. A Multi-Pak Interface for $80. A TRS-80 Touch Pad for $10. And about 4 or 5 bags with a single cable each in them. Oh yeah, one system has a cartridge with no label. All this comes to a total of $350. I jokingly offered $150 for everything, which they were okay with. I really got out of collecting anything that is not Atari, but this did interest me. What do you Tandy experts think? Obviously everything is untested.
  11. I could be misremembering, but I think if you are hooking into the VCS 800 then you do not need the base unit.
  12. I noticed on Atari's new 4 Games in One paddle cartridge that Video Olympics is on there, not Pong Sports. From what I can remember, anytime Atari has had Video Olympics on something, it was always listed as Pong Sports. Does anybody know when Atari is allowed to use the word Olympics? Maybe @TrogdarRobusto has an answer. Put me in the camp that thinks the word Olympics should not be able to be trademarked at all. The interlocking rings or specific games, sure, but not the word. I think Video Olympics sounds better than Pong Sports too.
  13. I had to reenter all my card information when I bought Mr. Run and Jump a few days ago, but the purchase went through fine.
  14. Pretty impressive. Now, not as impressive as it would have been had you done it on real hardware 😉, but impressive none the less. You had to have been sweating bullets on those last two with only your left cannon working.
  15. I will go with Wade Rosen. I mean how are you going to buy a forum and not even come by and say hello. Wait a minute... Atari just bought AtariAge and @JPF997 is a brand new member... JPF997 is Wade Rosen!
  16. I guess I scored 10 out of 20 for 50%. Is the top row the last round? The bottom row is cumulative? Edit: 10 out of 19. I suck at basic math, so I will definitely not try to figure out what my percentage is now. Although it should still be 5 in the tens place.
  17. I think I am only at 19 years, at least being registered. I was a lurker for a while first. I guess I am practically a newbie.
  18. Now that is pretty exciting news.
  19. Is the 8-bit computer database one of those things?
  20. Why? Does Albert play every game and decide if the game is good enough for the store? If so, how many games have been blocked from being sold in the AtariAge store due to lack of quality?
  21. I am amazed at the amount of suggestions that involve Atari not making any money. It boggles the mind how many people do not realize Atari has to make money to survive. They cannot pay their bills with good will. Also, @TrogdarRobusto, any chance on getting the lists of games acquired from the Accolade/GT Interactive and M Network deals?
  22. Okay, what specific assets are you wondering about? The forum, database, store?
