  1. I don't sell much, but I just had 18 people watching an Arcade poster auction of mine. I didn't think that they would generate any interest, but they're by far the most watched thing that I have. Guess I don't know what the public wants.
  2. I suppose it is, isn't it? If I'm keeping the paddles (and Video Olympics - I like that choice), I should really keep Circus Atari and a breakout - (Fireball, I think, since I have the Stella New Brain CD) Aw, crap. I knew this wasn't going to work. + Megamania + Kaboom + Circus Atari + Video Olympics + Jr. Pac + Pressure Cooker + Cosmic Ark (Forgot how much I liked that one) Is there something about Yar's that I don't know? Lots of people like I and I can barely play it... Thanks for the input, guys.
  3. *Modded* Supercharger? I've got a standard one, what's the modded one? [heads off to search]
  4. Eh, I plan on breaking out whatever ER stuff that I have into individual pieces and selling everything else in complete system lots. A
  5. Well, the time has finally come. I pretty much dropped out of collecting back in '96 or '97. I had about 350+ carts 2600 carts and a freakin' room full of other stuff. Most of everything else is gone, either traded or sold, but I've hung onto my 2600 (and Jaguar) stuff doggedly. I built this collection the ol' fashioned way, thrift to thrift, garage sale to garage sale, sign to sign. I have quite a few really good memories from all that, towns and people that I met. It was a good hobby. However, after moving it from closet to closet in my house (again), I come to realize that I don't have the passion for keeping them that I used to. Thus, I have decided to sell all but 10 or 12 of them. I simply can't bear to totally get rid of the system, but my days of keeping extra Mega Forces around have come to an end. Everything is going to hit that world-wide garage sale, the Bay of E, love it or hate it. I know that this is trite and tired to present these sorts of quizzes, but please throw in your two cents about carts that absolutely must be kept. Dollar value doesn't factor in with this - play value only: Here's what's guaranteed to be kept: + Megamania (I spent hundreds of hours with this as a kid.) + Kaboom + Adventure Everything else is up in the air. Any input appreciated. Adam (unixrat in the RGVC days...)
  6. Sky diver is always one of those that I pull out when someone wants to play a little two player. It's easy to learn and difficult to master - good for simple competitions.
  7. Hi all, I've got a boxed Cybermorph from long ago. My Jaguar didn't come with a pack-in and I bought it close-out from a local games shop. I'm weeding the collection and have been tossing boxes, but this might be something that think I should keep. Any opinions?
  8. Interesting? I put Okie Dokie #73 up for auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MESE:IT Like the day I bought it...
  9. A little late to the game, but I just wanted to post how cool these pictures are. I got mine in '82 - I'll dig through my mother's pictures and see what I can find.
  10. I've got four (and only four) controllers by my machine - two TAC-2s and two Slick-Sticks. The TAC-2 are by far the better controllers, but some people prefer the SS's. You won't regret getting a TAC-2.
  11. i too loved E.T. as a kid. There were things to do, characters to interact with and an ending. What's not to love? Of course, I simply couldn't beat it on anything other than the easiest level, but I probably logged more time playing that game than any other. With the exception of Megamania, I think. I still remember the little thrill you get out of seeing the flash from the well when you do your thing on the question mark.
