Well, I haven't posted much lately... been more working on my "Adventure" channel. But I did visit a local video game store in town called The Arcade 80's. I'm sure the experts would have a thing or two to say about it!

So, is $400 a good price? Should I tell them to raise it?

Hm... What format does the card need to be? FAT? FAT32? NTFS? I have a 2gig Kingston and it won't read it. Unbelievable.

Man, I loved this one back in the day! Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator! Hard to stop playing once you get started! I actually prefer this version to the ColecoVision one.

I think he's frustrated and annoyed that he puts a lot of work into his game reviews only to be totally overshadowed by Let's Play videos that have zero work put into them. So he's trying to find a happy middle ground. I will be super glad when he gets his new "Space Arcade" set up. I'm not crazy about his doing reviews from his basement or where ever it is (in the 70's room.) And he could use a partner to play off of once in awhile. That's one of the things I miss about Derek and Brandon not being there. Haven't seen a good Game.com beating in awhile...

(See the video for what I mean.) If it can auto-select the banking that would be great. The CC2 also has the ability to display the manuals (in text format.) Although I never really use it. Do you think your cart would work with larger roms? I see you expect to have 1MB, but I think the CC2 uses a special bank type to get it work. The only ROM I know of that uses it is the Softcell demo that is 512k (it plays about 75% of the song "Tainted Love" in decent quality.) Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Good question... Asteroids, Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Centipede will live on forever. But will people still be playing the original Batman Arkham Asylum, Halo 4, Bioshock, God of War 3, etc. in 30 years? I highly doubt it.

Yes, he had to move into a smaller Space Arcade. The big one was costing him too many Quatloos. He's in the process of setting up the new one in a smaller space, but he still has the arcade games et al.

Here's my review. The voice is amazing considering it's using the TIA! Is it easier to do voice on the 7800 when using that chip?

Astro Blaster for 7800 review: I originally thought this was kind of a dull game, but I've come to appreciate it!

I love Iron Soldier! It's fun, challenging, and it has some pretty good (funny) AI as the tanks and helicopters run for cover when you shoot at them!
