  1. And there was much rejoicing.... ................yeah..................... J/K...seriously...it is awesome to see you guys back up. Hopefully your able to work out another deal with another host soon to prevent these interruptions in the future..hehe.
  2. Hmm... I need 7800 Dig Dug...even if loose. I have these avail for trade.. Keystone Kapers (Very Worn..but works...) Kangaroo (Tad worn..but not bad...) Berzerk (Also worn...but not bad...) Pitfall! (Very worn label...) Pac-Man (Who doesn't have this one...) Pitfall! (But in new Activision case and no trace of a label ever being on it...) Let me know...Dig Dug is the only 7800 cart you listed I don't have and wouldn't mind having. So if any of the above interest you...email me please. BTW: I would be more than happy to scan these carts so you can see their conditions for yourself. [ 06-20-2001: Message edited by: -^Cro§Bow^- ]
  3. I agree with Sark, I too have a Sears Telegames Heavy Sixer... That strange woodgrain pattern and silvery overlay for th switches sure is pretty!
  4. Can't say I didn't warn all of you... You should have known that was what I meant earlier when the Crazy Mon and Soda Bob crap first started. I have been realizing that Soda Bob..and possibly Crazy Mon were both the Robman himself. I saw the writing patterned style from the first set of messages.
  5. This is a very good thing to see. I also look forward to another 7800 emu. But it won't be easy...this guy has chosen perhaps the most difficult of the Atari systems to emulate as I understand it. The 7800 Maria is not very well documented. In fact most of the emulation that has been possilbe in Mess is from Dan Boris's own observations on how the 7800 does it's thing. Ah yes...the Maria...she is quite the Atari Enigma... Good luck to him all the same on this project however. He needs to hit this board up for roms...even the unreleased ones...as there are several of us here who can provide him with that.
  6. Albert, Its cool..and I do understand..since you guys have put the Age online...the boards etc..have been getting hit hugely. Plus some of us have been plugging the place at other area we frequent. Anyway, I shall find me a suitable Avatar for use...either keep me blank until then..or add the one I have listed ...the static small hard to read one...hehe.. BTW..you still need a scan of 7800 BasketBrawl?
  7. Nah...I am not a good artist. All the sig pics that I have...I either came up with the concept and had the real artist (A good buddy of mine) do them. Or I simply cut and past some things..and edit them that I find on the web. However I was totally impressed by that Stained Glass effect I pulled off on the sig pic also...hehe... Total shock when I fired it up and there it was... But I could possible help in the future with other projects...
  8. I am still excited as to what Proto or completed unrelease project Ken@Activision is gonna pull from Dan?! I know Tempest must be drooling with anticipation...heheh... As for Zookeeper...I am sure it would be scaled down. And part of how they did Xenophobe on the 2600 was by not allowing the other second player to play at the same time. Plus..Tempest you yourself saw elevator action..and who would have thought that would look cool?! (Still wish there was a screenshot somewhere on the web of it...)
  9. khryssun: I use Animation Shop 3 which comes with the Paint Shop Pro 7.02 CD. However, for even more ultra small compression ratios with little or not loss on the file...I use Adobe Photoshop Pro 6. It was Photoshop that allowed me to squash F of I's logo even further by reducing it to gif format with no dither and only using 32 colors. Also I found that if you increase the pixel resolution of the pic and then resize...you will get the smaller size of the pic..but yet it will look better than before. That is how the compression really kicks in.
  10. Okay...last time... Here is the pic for the Profile sheet: Main Sig Pic for Profile Page Here is the medium size Avatar for display to the left if Alex and Al think it's cool: Old Scratchy Shakey Film Effect Sig And for for the Bandwidth impaired in the house running on 9600 or slower... Really ultra small hard to read non-moving....Sig Pic... And because I was feeling Randy to do it... F of I's Logo at Half the size it USED to be... I certainly hope this satisfy your small file needs. Please inform me if there is anything else that I can do to please you... [ 06-15-2001: Message edited by: -^Cro§Bow^- ]
  11. The Sear's Video Arcade 2...is only similar to the 7800 in that it was build in the same basic case. The Sears Arcade 2 was nothing more than a 2600 in a newly designed and fancy case. Overseas in Japan the same case was used in the Atari 2600 there only it was known as the 2800. In short. The Sears Arcade 2 is not compatible with 7800 games since it isn't even a 7800. However, the Sears Arcade 2 by itself might be considered more rare..and could fetch a trade for a 7800 I bet. Hope this helps...
  12. Hey... Even on a 14.4...it shouldn't take more than like 12-15 seconds to load it...and most people are browsing at 33.6 or above. Would take that long to read the message at least... BAhhh..Alex...Al...? [ 06-15-2001: Message edited by: -^Cro§Bow^- ]
  13. Hey Alex.. here you go...a mucho smaller...completly redone Avatar.. small new Sig Pic That outta do her...
  14. They are supposed to be 64x64...but my actual profile pic is too large..and looks weird anyway at that small a res. However even though this one is larger...it should shrink down nicely. As for being damaged..that is only because many on dial up can't see it..it is 177k in size..and so most time out.. Try refreshing it...and you will eventually get the whole image. On broadband...it is instant. But it if has to be static..that isn't a prob...I can make on up that is...and submit that.
  15. mmm..just noticed after updating my profile..that my Avatar pic has disappeared...hehe... Alex...use this for the pic as it is more of a "G" rated pic and thus more family oriented... Older Sig/Avatar Pic...hehe Thanks!
  16. But if the author of Yar's Quest ends up changing the name..and the graphics...then that wouldn't be a prob..hehe.. So your telling us Ken that Gary does indeed have some more Proto's..that haven't been found or released yet? Or are these new projects that Mr. Kitchen has worked on..and not released? This all sounds...very cool and exciting...!!! [ 06-15-2001: Message edited by: -^Cro§Bow^- ]
  17. I have some normal carts where in multiple labels are stacked on top of each other. My most common ones with this..are my 7800 games. I would love to know what the labels are underneath..but I don't see a way I could find out without damaging the primary label. I am sure you have seen this before?
  18. You won't get a star..because you have a custom title..your "Dumbass Atari Fan" is where the stars should be... Alex..Al..take a look and confirm...
  19. Because then that brings about the thoughts of the Four Horsemen.... Still...Four Knights of Atari isn't bad...I kinda like the sound of it....hehe..I would...being a Knight and all...
  20. Jag: Good point...Heavy Sex with a Hottie (my wife) would be much prefered over the Heavy Sixer...however the Heavy Sixer might win out in favor of a Heavy girl...hehe..
  21. utamav91: Your totally right about most of the sports games on the 7800...I can't figure out what went wrong in that area for that system. However, in all fairness One-on-One is good (Although not really my style...) and BasketBrawl is a lot of fun if a bit on the easy side. I haven't really played the football game...but I don't like hat trick at all...there is like no AI in that one... Anyway, I do often wonder why the Pro system had such poor sports games...with the power is had over the 2600 and 5200 they could have done much better.
  22. I would say it depends on the condition..but if it is still shrinkwrapped...I wouldn't pay more than about 10-12 for it...I just recently got me a shrinkwrapped mint one off ebay for 5.75...hehe..but that was a lucky strike sorta...
  23. That's Great Tempest!!! I can't wait until you get that dumped sometime. That would be loads fun to play. I haven't tried any of the 7800 baseball games..as I was never into the 7800 sports stuff that much. But I thought Pete Rose on the 7800 was supposed to be pretty good...equal in quality to many NES ones?! Or did somebody slip me a mickey in my drink once?
  24. We can handle it like a chess board... You know..have Knights...and Rooks..and Bishops...and all that... But who will be the Queens?! We need more females in this forum... Is Atari really all that male an oriented hobby?
