  1. Great idea for sure. One complicating factor is the difference between the two shell designs. The ones I am making are duplicates of the original design with the screw and latch features. The one sold by SK are changed from the original and do not have the latching feature.
  2. Sure I can look into box protectors for the controller boxes as well
  3. I can add this to the list of box protectors I can get quotes on. Right now getting Odyssey 2 console box, Odyssey 2 game box, Atari Lynx big box
  4. If you ever decide you want to ship your system out. I have used this person before and he does really good work and prices are excellent Atari Systems James's Classic Repair offers restoration and repair of classic Atari 2600, Atari 7800 and other Atari products. Their email address is atari2atari@gmail.com
  5. Sounds great I will let you know what I find out
  6. I actually have a contact at a metal factory, as I had the RF shielding for the N64 cartridges made. I will inquire about the cost of having these made
  7. I can try to have some made as I am getting a quote on the Odyssey boxes right now
  8. Second this the reproduction power adapters are all terrible
  9. I agree making them all textured would be the best option. There is a reason that most Sega Genesis consoles that are used looked all scuffed up is because they are smooth instead of textured.
  10. That's quite bad! If you need capacitors I typically buy mine from Mouser Electronics as they have a great supply at a good cost
  11. Sounds like there is some interest. I will have them made up. I suspect the price will be about $3.99 for a label.
  12. Also the capacitors should have values printed on them which help to determine where they go as well. You match the replacement capacitor to the part on the board with the same value
  13. I got a quote back on getting the labels made and they can easily be made however there would be some slight variance from the original. The labels would have the sample artwork however The original has a very subtle texture embossed into that faux woodgrain material which would not be replicated. Is this still something people would be interested in? Prices would be very good

  15. Just for fun I got a quote on having these lids made. The mold would actually be fairly complex and therefore expensive. The per piece cost is also fairly high as well. One would have to sell hundreds of them of them for around $10 each to make such an en devour reasonable
  16. Sounds great, I will have them out shortly.
  17. Sounds great I will look into getting protectors for the games and system made.
  18. I had a person contact me about making some NeoGeo Pocket Color screens. Had some made out of real glass and have a peel and stick backing. Really nice stuff and a great replacement item. Let me know if you have any questions https://www.mortoffgames.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=915
  19. I actually have a contact in a company that makes these and have had NES/SNES/GameBoy protectors made for myself. It would probably be very easy for me to have protectors made for the Odyssey system if people were interested in them. Let me know
  20. Fantastic! They should be ready shortly. I will also have the plastic trays used by Intellivision games re-made as well.
  21. Then I will make a run of transparent red shells as well in the initial order. Thank you for the advice.
  22. Are you looking for empty shells?
