Is there currently anyone in the US working on these? I am in the Ohio/Ky/WV tri state area.

Are the Canadian power supplies worth the extra money off eBay. I remember reading years back that they lasted longer but at this point I'd imagine everything will begin to fail soon

I don't have one but that seems much easier to find then a Colecovision one. I'll dig around local and see if I can get one.I normally use a Nintendo RF switch for testing them. It works fine to verify if a picture is coming up at least.

I just cleaned the one cartridge and the port with alcohol, nothing. I also tried fidgeting with the connections to make sure they were in properly and power cord seemed to have more effect than the rf. Hopefully the adaptor isn't toast.

So I just got this in the box but without an rf connector. I plugged it in using my 7800 rf cable and got this wierd static almost like I was in the wrong channel. I recorded about 10 seconds of it and put it on YouTube. https://youtu.be/zL46BjEgMHc

I'm pretty sure I have that also. I'll have to check when I get home.
I picked up this piece of oddware NIB for pretty cheap. Haven't had a chance to test it thoroughly yet. I figured it might be handy for PS2 arcade sticks, Negcon, and trackball.

Finally broke down and bought one off eBay. Untested but everything is there and packed nicely.

Guilty as chargedI bet a good percentage of people following this thread had never even heard of the xboard until seeing it here. I'd argue in that case, don't bother with it.

Oh, that's weird, not really surprising though, sometimes Tapatalk is weird
You've double posted 2 different threads

There is also is a 6 switch telegames and an intellevision 1
15 Atari games, 7 Intellivision games. Worked 20 years ago.
I can practically guarantee these will all be extremely common cartridges in average to poor condition and not worth an hour-and-a-half round trip unless A) you actually need them, B) you don't care about condition, and C) they cost basically nothing.

That's weird, Tapatalk is missing about half the posts in this thread. I see a lot more on chrome.

Thanks, I will do that. So excited, a working Coleco is not an easy find in Appalachia. As a matter of fact, I've been to Huntington, Wv, Ashland, Ky, Columbus, Cincy and Dayton Oh and still haven't even seen a broken one.
$200

Before I dig through 750 posts does anyone remember a price point or launch date for this?

Messaged the seller back and they offered the lot for 100

I have a 2600Jr, Video Arcade 2, and a 7800 to play 2600 games on. No Intv stuff at all, that's actually only the 4th one I've seen for sale local, 2 were broke and one was a $200 Intv 2 at a flea market rhat I assume will be there forever.

Yeah and if they don't work I'm assuming they are worth 10-25 a piece. I'm probably 2 hours from anyone who could work on these also.

Here they are, thought they were in the original post.

Starting to get really interested in all this.

I found this on facebook approximately 45 minutes to an hour away. I inquired about condition and was told "it worked when stored 20 years ago". The tote is said to have 15 Atari and 7 Intv games.

I'm not entirely sure, that was just my interpretation of it. I agrer on fewer laws though.
If that's the case then there is no need for a new law. The copyright owner is transferring ownership or abandoning the IP. Less laws = good laws.

I understood Orphan Works laws to only take effect if the original copywriter signed off on making things public domain or passed on without selling or willing the rights to someone else.Or tell him you DON"T support it. Things have copyrights for a reason.

I saw Yurkie is taking a hiatus from modding systems, does anyone else around here offer services?

Just got a Colecovision off eBay and it doesn't work (surprise I know)

I may try to hold out for the USB power supply that is supposed to be out soon. If I quit buying games today and spent 10 hours a week trying to beat the main stories only of my games it would probably take me 3 or 4 years to play everything I already own.
