  1. Great port, loving playing Lynx games on my Xperia Play! Another great update and now Stun runner runs! Though Baseball Heroes still doesn't. I don't know if you can get any speed ups in the code as its still not running as fast as Lynx emus on a PSP vs a 1ghz snapdragon CPU, can it be optimised somewhere? Anyway Keep up the good work!
  2. Ah yeah i see now! though to be fair it did come out in 1979 compared to 1989 of the coupe, 10 years is a long time in computing and the Texas machine wasnt build for gaming, plus the coupe was a late comer in the 8-bit life being more powerful than most, same for the PC Engine, remembered for being 8-bit but is16-bit in reality.
  3. Sorry just found it ironic you happened to pick a Lemmings shot from the Sam Coupe version, which is a 8-bit machine
  4. Hi, I've added The Brundles to the unofficial Lemmings page, you can check out my thoughts here
  5. Yes I am aware of this version, although as far as I know it's not been officially licensed from Psygnosis hence why the name change, the comparison pages compare just official releases anyway, though I will gladly add it to the unofficial version pages when I get chance, if u could link me some information, screenshots, boxart that kind of thing that would be very helpful thanks.
  6. Hi, didn't think to post this here when I wrote this comparisons for the handheld versions of Lemmings, if you click the link and scroll down to the handheld section, you can find out what i thought there. Handheld Lemmings Comparisons
  7. Hi all, i know this thread will probably hit a nerve of some of you, but what the heck, if i don't ask then i probably won't get anyway! What with downloads being more populour each year and Lynx games having low production run rates of homebrew games, would any of the developers of said games be willing to sell their games in a 'rom' (such a big word i know!) format to play on emulators on machines like Pandora, Wiz, GP2X, PSP etc, of course loads of other machines but these being the most suitable as they also handhelds and suit the Lynx emulator perfectly.... A couple of points though, firstly i'm not sure how technically possible if would be to somehow encrypt a rom, maybe hardcode a game into a Lynx emulator as was done with Sonic 1 on the Gizmondo in a prototype as an example. Secondly, if this isn't possible, then of course there would be the problem of the rom being bandid around for free, of course if the game in question is still in production or still selling then i would understand the developer not wanting to release it, but what if the game had its run sold out and there was no chance of another run?, maybe putting the rom up for sale for say something like £5.99/$9.99, i know myself and others who have asked for homebrew games would buy some of these games, surely thats at least a little extra revenue even IF the rom did get leaked out eventually, though personally Atari fans are some of nicest guys i would be supprised, i think most of the rom sites wouldn't be bothered by a few homebrew releases to add any new Lynx games, more busy adding cd titles nowadays..... Anyho thought i'd suggest this, it's maybe been thought of, maybe someone might take the leap and see what happens with a title...if it works out then who knows? Cheers Guys
  8. Thats ok i don't mind answering....its mainly to do with my house and money, that kind of situation, so i need to raise some capital from my remaining stocks of games and other items to keep things ticking over again..its one of those things just getting it going again and something else knocks you down...lol Anyway get some bargains from me on ebay! use my site link below
  9. Hi, yeah sadly the site is just sitting there with no content, i'm selling all my remaining stock on ebay probably until end of Feb/Early March.
  10. Newly updated final reductions on every New and Used Lynx game, 13 days left of sales, order yours before price reverts back to normal. LynxUK Shop
  11. No all development was stopped on it, i was being sarcastic! Seriously though someone must be able to get in touch with him and get the source for a small fee/share of profits?
  12. Chris, you seem to think the Lynx developers are full time getting paid a wage for doing Lynx games...they are NOT! they are all doing these as a hobby, they know they are not going to get rich out of this, you have to get real...In the case of Distant Lands, it's Chris Vick doing the programming and i'm sure he wants to take his time and get a decent product out as well as hold down a full time job. Also in the case of Ultravore and other Songbird products...most of us know Carl had a personal tragedy some time ago (as did i) and i know its the hardest thing in the world to handle, as i much as we all would like a new release every month or 2 thats not going to happen, on a lighter note...I'm still waiting for TNT Terry for gawds sake!
  13. Don't forget the weak dollar in the US, no good saying it better come under $40-50 when it the moment $55-60 is the more likely figure
  14. They have spent the best part of 3+ years on this title, i'm sure they at least make the effort to make enough copies to go around! Gauranteed to be 100-150+ copies.
  15. Copy of offers now on the Specials page, make sure you get your order in before Jan 31st as some prices will return to normal. Also have tried to sort out some of the page size issue's, hope they have helped. Justin Castle LynxUK Webshop http://homepage.ntlworld.com/justincastle/
  16. Firstly no relation to Edward! been asked that before, he also wrote a couple of Lynx games, but they never got completed. Thanks Atarinvader for the comments, yeah hopefully we can get more people interested in the Lynx again... Most of the orders I've had so far are from Europe because the exhange rate of the US dollar is so weak against the pound making some of the prices seem high for US customers, but hopefully that will change soon. Lastly i've made the site compatible with all resolutions of IE, havent had Netscape for a few years so if anyone is having trouble with the site please email me and i'll be glad to help, email price lists etc, also just make sure you have the latest version of your brower with Java enabled for the menu. 17. Hi, thanks for your comments, i will try and fix some browser issue's in the next few days. Our deal with Telegames ran out when the old LynxUK site closed down, and as i said the site is progressing slowly and more things will come back online, maybe we can get Telegames to provide us with some charts or info on their unreleased games. 18. The Shop section of the new reborn LynxUK website is now open! 21. Had a quick go today and after first impressions i think its a very good attempt of the A500 classic, the sound is very close to the original as are the graphics, the select lemming screen is good, making it easier to swap lemming as it pauses the game, the only downside as you mentioned is the framerate, well i dont think its the framerate as such but the screen scrolling and cursor movement is pretty slow to say the least, you do get used to it after a few levels though, overall as i said a great port easily the best handheld version and better than the MD, SNES ports.
  22. Have a load of new games coming from Songbird can't wait for those, plus i got a copy of Lemmings today, havent played it yet, cant wait to see how it compares to the Amiga and Gameboy versions.

Only 1 or 2 can answer this question really, i'm just telling you this you will have to hope they reply! Extremely rare roughly only 1-3 prototype copies around. I think Harry Dodgson has a copy, here's alink to his RP page, its supposibly a lot better than Baseball Heroes http://www.provide.net/~hdodgson/rpt/rpt.html
  24. Eh? I want Rolling Thunder and other Atari games that wasn't completed but i doubt they will ever be found! put me down for 2 copies of each!
  25. Whats the problem with multiplayer support? had to program for or just lack of hardware to test it on? Also how far is the actual game progressed?
