There is a door at the bottom of that room. If you didn’t use the right item you can clear the next room. Otherwise you will need to start over.
I got to the other room. I used something to float around in and came out the other side. I even found something underneath a piece of furniture.

I finished the game this morning. Thanks to all those that helped me via PM. It's a great game. I have a copy of Unseen. I should complete that game as well.

I burned the twigs with the stuff from the stove, I found the eye for the cat, I got the 2nd board and placed it as a walkway...any hints on what I need to do next? What's up with the ghost? This game is insane. I need to pick up Unseen again.
