Always like seeing a good clean up job on the older consoles.

@GoldLeader, RamrodHare, and cybercylon - Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate them. :)

  2. Gave my Atari 2600 a bubble bath, well.. the plastic top casing that is. It must have felt weird getting a bath for the first time in 36 years. :)

The thing is with the internet is people might be sincere, might be semi-sardonic, or just plain mocking.

  3. Donkey Kong for Atari 2600 looks like a gingerbread man, along with Jumpman/Mario having to dodge those genie lamps heading his way. Ha!

  4. Figuring out which is best for my 2nd Atari 2600 joystick (less cutting down the white handle stick), Tactile Push Button Tact Switch Momentary (height of) 5mm, 4.3mm, or 3.8mm?

  5. Working on cleaning the 1978 Atari 2600 that was given to me, and finding out I need new parts inside the CX40 joystick, including a new PCB board.

Excuse me for swearing in the church, but is a CX-40 worth repairing from a game playing perspective?

@carlsson - I enjoy replacing things that are broken, including joysticks or anything that has to do with gaming, it's almost like a hobby for me. It's something I don't have to do, but I enjoy doing it. Thanks for the comment.

@save2600 - Ha! Thanks. The Atari 2600 was given to me in great condition, just upgrading some parts due to normal wear.
