  1. This one's only $900 with a fake repro box 😂 https://www.ebay.com/itm/404598694625?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=doaohx6frb2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=1JYwYfN6Taa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  2. Paid $44.95 in 2012. I sold it for $88 in 2016 on eBay 👍.
  3. I'm all for starting auctions at .99 cents and letting them sell for whatever buyers are willing to pay for it. The funny thing about this auction is that I was the original buyer of the 49/50 cart. Purchased it in 2012 then I sold it on eBay in 2016. Now someone thinks its worth $450 🙁.
  4. At least they threw in the "or Best Offer". 😂
  5. Here ya go: https://www.ebay.com/itm/225828995324?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=1Veh9H6uQ4i&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=1JYwYfN6Taa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  6. I agree about Mean 18. I had both Mean 18 and Tank Command CIB but have sold/traded both off 🙁. Another one is Rampage which is selling for a good bit of change these days....
  7. Good luck finding a reasonably priced Tank Command. I would be happy with just the repro copy! Ebay has gotten so ridiculous now that you could easily pay $150 or up on at least 10 Atari 7800 CIBs/Carts. So happy to have purchased the 30th anniversary 7800 cart# 2 which has 8 7800 games which are getting very expensive these days: Contains eight 128k games 1) Basketbrawl 2) Ikari Warriors 3) Mean 18 Ultimate Golf 4) Midnight Mutants 5) Ninja Golf 6) Scrapyard Dog 7) Title Match Pro Wrestling 8 ) Water Ski
  8. Looks like a new user made a comment to the topic and a few people replied? What's the problem boss?
  9. I just wanted to add another pointless reply... 👍
  10. I agree with this 💯. The 2600 should've been cancelled in 1982 and Atari could've concentrated more effort into the 5200. If they would've reduced the price of the 5200, made it compatible with the 2600 carts on release and had self-centering joysticks it may of had a 4 year life ending with the 7800 release in 1986. Look at all the prototype games found for the 5200 after it's demise. Should've been a great system but Atari seemed to rush the 5200 to market just to compete with the Intellivision/Colecovision. Why have all these divisions competing against itself at the same time with the 2600, 5200 and the computer lines? Sounds like greed and bad decisions making by those in charge at Atari. The 5200 is still my favorite system even with all the "failure" labels attached to it 🙂.
  11. This might work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266440098737?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=LgrzGGpZSDe&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=1JYwYfN6Taa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  12. Looks like a pretty cool device! SD card to download additional games: Wow! Would definitely purchase this before the Atari 2600+.
  13. I see Atari hired a few comedians too 🙂
  14. With all the 2600 flashbacks that have been released plus now the Atari 2600+ plus 3 new My Arcade systems, how many times can a system from the 70's/80's be milked based on nostalgia and be profitable enough to be released on a consistent basis? It seems way beyond overkill to me......
  15. Saw the news on Facebook yesterday about Atari acquiring AtariAge. First off, congrats to Albert! His devotion to this hobby and keeping this website going all these years is a testament to who he is as a person. Having been on this site since 2001 you realize that things are gonna change eventually. Never wanted a 2600 back in the day having purchased the 5200 in 1982 and then the 7800 on its release. So what does the news mean to me? I hope there's enough interest to keep me coming back. I have for over 20 years! If the "New Atari" is only interested in promoting the Atari 2600 + in the future, I'm prob not interested. Time will tell......
  16. Hello Bob! I just wanted to say thank you for all you've done for the 7800 community and AtariAge as well. I'm going on 22 yrs here and purchased most of your 7800 releases. You single-handedly turned interest in the 7800 around to what it is today. Thanks for releasing the Roms to your games so others can enjoy your incredible work! Take care Bob!
  17. The error in the counting of points for the thrown bottles by Seahag on the 2nd screen is such a non issue in the overall playing of the game. This is a wonderful update when compared with the 5200 release. Played the crap out of 5200 Popeye and got very good at it. The head/body contrast of Brutus's body in the 5200 release always made me laugh! Fix or no fix this is a definite purchase for me in the future!

  21. This +1! Plus the Colecovision controllers were just as worse. Rectangular in shape with a knob style joystick with hard buttons to push consistently? Thankfully there are many new joysticks made nowadays as an upgrade to the originals.
  22. As a collector that's a great idea! Saves you from constantly opening the box and damaging the box flap. I also find myself going back and reading my 5200/7800 manuals and brochures over again like a 10 year old! I will look into doing this. Any pics of your binders?
  23. I love when Al includes the extra brochures with the upcoming releases! Played the crap out of this on the 5200. Need to order this very soon. Great job Darryl!!!
