Speakjet is always an ip Atari could acquire which should solve that issue. Someone should suggest it to them and get the ball rolling.

I have this game but it's temporarily shelved until I get an actual Genesis. So far I've played on a Hyperkin Mega HD and entire graphics are missing fairly early on in the game making it impossible to proceed. I put it down to just not being compatible with the clone system but you have me worried it's the game and not my clone console.

Is it correct that they say "expand the plus platform". As in singular, not plural? Because I'm not sure if something like a Vader or Junior version of the 2600 is really what I would call a proper expansion. And if they do an Intellivision Plus or Jaguar Plus, which is what I would call a proper expansion, without maintaining the compatibility with the Plus consoles already launched, then to me, it would become platforms, not remain a single platform. So how do they release Plus consoles for other systems but maintain compatibility with what what's already been released? Do they release them with two cartridge slots or cartridge adapters? And release separate cartridge adapters for those who already own a 2600+ and/or 7800+ and don't want to but any more? Do they rely on releasing new Intellivision or Jaguar games in Atari 2600/7800 format carts? Is that even possible? That doesn't sound like a practical idea for Intellivision because there are so many games already out there at reasonable prices. And I think it would annoy too many people who already own Intellivision carts and would love an Intellivision Plus. But, I think Jaguar games in 2600/7800 shaped carts is possibly a more practical solution with the Jaguar as games for it are much less common, and as most of the games they could publish for it are homebrews, Atari could make a case for starting from scratch with the Jaguar. I feel like there's a ton more Jaguar wannabe owners out there who'd jump at the chance of that, than there are hardcore Jaguar owners who'd be pissed at not being able to play their original carts on a new Jaguar Plus. You could still potentially design them with the iconic grip. And hopefully they'd be a little more affordable than Jaguar homebrews currently are.

Other than Robotwar, my personal favourites would be Super Cobra Arcade, Elevator Agent and Zoo Keeper. Would very much recommend those but you can't go wrong with any of them. Edit: I don't have Tutankham Arcade yet but I bet it would be another favourite if I did.

Gorf Arcade AtariVox not active(yet)

Emulation of what the AtariVox does would be fine by me. I would especially miss the digitized speech if playing any of those enhanced games on a plus console. I won't bother playing any of those until/if they can get that working. As for the high score saves, it would be a bonus but I can't say I'm too bothered. I'd just save them in my notes on my phone like I do with all the non-AtariVox games. 99% of why I got an AtariVox in the first place was for the digitized speech. -
I haven't played Turbo since playing Stratovox. Does this mean my high scores on Turbo will be all screwed up too now? It seems Albert doesn't think I should get another Stratovox after sending me another copy because my first would crash after a few seconds of gameplay. The second still has the glitched high scores but I never get a response from my emails.

What I'd like to know is if a firmware update would achieve the digital voices and high score saves without the need to plug in an AtariVox. I have one but it would be nice to not have to buy another, or keep swapping it from my 2600 to a plus console and back again. -
I am aware of them and both look very good. Especially Tomahawk, but that's only because shooters are my favourite genre. I haven't played them though as I don't have a multicart or emulate on a pc. I'm hoping those 2 will be coming from Champ Games soon.

I see. So I suppose I’d have to mail Stratovox back to Al, which is international post, or if he’s willing, he can just send me another cart.
-
What do you mean exactly by there was a conflict between those two games? I don't get why you can only get an "update", and by that, do you mean a replacement, if you have both games? I have both but Stratovox was bought from AtariAge and Turbo from Champ Games. Just realized, I'm talking to the man himself. Great game by the way. Very enjoyable. Even better than The End, which I also have and is fun.

Wow, even you have a duff copy?! That means there’s a 99.9% chance they’re all like it, which I guess would make it a programming issue? Although….yours is less garbled than us plebs copies. Question is, do we just put up with it or start a petition to get it fixed and replacement carts sent out?

Is it mean to say I’m glad I’m not the only one?

When playing Stratovox, I have graphical glitching on my overall high score with the AtariVox plugged in. It's just illegible. My most recent score display is fine whether the AtariVox is plugged in or not. Al sent me a replacement because my first copy of Stratovox would only play for a few seconds before completely crashing AND had the garbled high score display. The replacement copy doesn't crash and I'm able to play full games but has the garbled, illegible high score still. Could it be the AtariVox itself? I have tested several AtariVox compatible games and not seen it on any other. Or is it clearly something wrong with the cartridge itself? IMG_2784.mov
