  1. Love the word play on "foray" and "4 A".
  2. Do you have access to a scanner? That's a pretty interesting looking article, and i don't think the TI community has that article scanned yet (please correct me if i'm wrong).
  3. Maybe i am just being dense here, but other compiled languages (not ti specific) don't have any problems with floating point math. Why is this so hard to accomplish for compiled code on the ti?
  4. I already have penis shooting, could you produce a FIAD/.dsk for MACHOMAN, by chance?
  5. Best news i've heard all week! "rude"/"adult" titles like "seek and destroy II" is actually one of my favorite parts of these retro computers. Don't know how many more "rude" games you plan on making, but they should eventually all be put into a single cart image .
  6. Release the Kraken octothorpe!
  7. In this picture here, there is a little cover over the connector. @arcadeshopper or others, how common are these? I have two speech synthesizer units, neither came with one. I'd actually kind of like to have one "just because".
  8. The subject here in this thread is temporary variables and what they are or are not in regards to XB sub routines. The first example by @apersson850 is XB compatible. Don't like pascal examples? Ignore them. He made a fine enough point with his post even without looking at the pascal code. Your attitude has earned you a permanent spot on my ignore list.
  9. @apersson850 has shown you example programs that can be run by anyone with predictable, repeatable, results. That's not "theory", it's fact backed by evidence and documented examples. Sorry if you have a problem accepting that.
  10. I'd like to nominate the thread title be changed to the above ^ Also a new subforum should be created: "The boxing ring". Move any disruptive content like this into the new subforum and let them duke it out there.
  11. Will I be able to use the cover with a cartridge still inserted, or do I have to remove it before fitting the cover?
  12. Can you provide a link to check that out? Sounds interesting.
  13. Could you post your modified program here, please? I'm interested.
  14. I've come to the conclusion that Schrödinger's cat was a zombie, alive and dead at the same time.
  15. 99.9% of the time, Linux. Ubuntu to be precise. And also a VM of windows XP "just in case".
  16. I have no idea what "BuLWiP" means, but... This is awesome news!
  17. *snorts under breath* Let me know how that works out for you... *takes a sip of rum-spiked coffee* Really though, good work on this game 🙂
  18. Everytime this year that they say a storm is coming our way, it goes around us. Would love a good all-day n' all-night storm.
  19. The B=B=0 confused me too, to be honest. Makes sense now.
  20. I'm going to have to charge you for the crane it took to lift my jaw up off the floor. That is awesome!
  21. First off, that screenshot looks awesome! As long as it gives the player the same vibe of a Carmen game, i'd say you succeeded. Doesn't necessarily need to be a straight up clone of WITWICS. A few Texas Instruments references / easter eggs would be cool though. 🙂
  22. I want to see a "lawn defence" / "plants vs zombies" type game on the 99. This one is for C64 and author mentioned in the comment section making the source available.
